"Our debut album, Lupine Essence, will be available on November 20th as a remastered re-release! Twenty-three years have passed since the release of our debut album, which should be the starting point of an adventurous and unique career. After the album has been virtually nowhere available for years it is time to breathe new life into this gem! Lupine Essence will be re-released on November 20th. The original 8 tracks of the debut were completely remastered by Arkadius himself for the re-release on CD!
Additionally, there are six bonus tracks from different re-recordings, which are partly still unreleased. In the booklet you will also find extra liner notes by Arkadius Antonik, which give an insight into the history of this debut.

VANDEN PLAS Streaming New Song "When The World Is Falling Down"About a year ago, the German progressive metal band Vanden Plas delivered the music world part one of their two part concept album, The Ghost Xperiment. Entitled The Ghost Xperiment - Awakening, the album ended on a cliffhanger, where during a séance, Gideon Grace, the main character, at last encounters the ghosts who have haunted him since his childhood. Ghosts? Exactly! Now comes the dramatic conclusion of the story with their new album, The Ghost Xperiment - Illumination.
Listen to the album opener "When The World Is Falling Down" below, and pre-order/save The Ghost Xperiment - Illumination on CD/LP/Digital here.
"For years, I've felt driven by the idea of writing a ghost story that casts a different light on the genre, and .. at the end leaves the audience with a plausible explanation," author and Vanden Plas lead vocalist Andy Kuntz elucidates. As for his inspiration for the story, Kuntz came across the Phillip-Experiment, an authentic and credibly documented investigation of necromancy... literally, conjuring dead spirits. "I knew immediately that I had found the basis for the story that I had been seeking for so long."
Thus developed the story for The Ghost Xperiment, which continues in the second part Illumination, and reaches its startling conclusion. But of course these intelligent, inventive story telling lyrics need a strong musical vehicle for delivery and Vanden Plas astounds in that respect. While the orchestral arrangements in the first album in the saga had been reduced compared to the two previous Chronicles Of The Immortals series, this time the progressive aspects of the band’s sound are even more apparent. Along with the band's brilliant musicians, Stephan Lill (guitar), Günter Werno (keyboards), Andreas Lill (drums), and Torsten Reichert (bass), prestigious guests also add to this incredible showing. Alea from the leading German medieval rock band Saltatio Mortis joins Kuntz for a duet on the bonus track "Krieg kennt keine Sieger", Snow White Blood singer Ulli Perhonen shines in "Black Waltz Death" and "The Ghost Engineers", and the backing vocals team is made up of longtime musical colleagues including Oliver Hartmann from Avantasia and Herbie Langhans from Firewind.
This highly concentrated musical power, paired with unexpected twists such as in "Black Waltz Death" or the 13-minute long "The Ouroboros" is what makes The Ghost Xperiment - Illumination so incredibly gripping. In addition, with the opener "World is Falling Down", Vanden Plas has created an unbelievably driving steam hammer engine and with "Under the Horizon", a true prog anthem. After hearing its hypnotic refrain just once, it's already impossible to imagine the band's musical universe without it.
In short, Vanden Plas continues to dedicatedly pursue their own unique path.
The band’s creativity has not been deterred by the current pandemic. Theater engagements naturally had to be temporarily suspended, but in the months preceding, Vanden Plas had already showcased their own rock opera Everyman in Pforzheim, Der Herbst des Winterkönigs (The Autumn of the Winterking) in Amberg, and American Idiot at the Prinzregententheater in Munich as well as at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck. Those kinds of productions are no small undertaking, but despite the limits being pushed, the band performed Concerto For Group and Orchestra, the masterwork from Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, in Kaiserslautern and also found time to finalize the song material for The Ghost Xperiment - Illumination.
Even in a time of crisis, the band has managed to progress, to give their best, and to present their fans with another glorious work that literally explodes with variety and vitality. The Ghost Xperiment - Illumination is precisely the medicine that we all need right now.

WHITESNAKE Release "The Deeper The Love" 2020 Remix; AudioWhitesnake brings together some of the most-passionate music of its multi-platinum career on Love Songs, a new collection that contains remixed and remastered versions of the group’s best love songs. It’s the second release in the band’s Red, White and Blues Trilogy, a series of compilations organized by musical themes that began this summer with The Rock Album (white) and will conclude next year with The Blues Album (blue).
Listen to the new remix of "The Deeper The Love" below:
The new collection includes a mix of hits and deep tracks that were originally released between 1987 and 2011 on five Whitesnake studio albums and David Coverdale’s third solo album, Into The Light. Available for pre-order now, Love Songs will be released on November 6 as a CD , as a double-LP set pressed on 180-gram red vinyl, and digitally. The album will also be available via Rhino.com .
Like The Rock Album, Coverdale says all the tracks on Love Songs have been revisited, remixed and remastered. “Some have been musically embellished where my co-producer Michael McIntyre, my new mixer Christopher Collier and I felt it appropriate or necessary to bring out the best in these songs,” he explains.
Coverdale continues, “As most of you know, pretty much all the songs I write are love songs in some way, shape or form. These are some of my favorites. Not all are ballads. Some are out and out rockers with powerful romantic themes… and of course… include heavy breathing in all of them!!”
Released in October 1987 as the follow-up to the #1 smash “Here I Go Again,” “Is This Love” would peak at #2 on the US singles chart, making it the second-biggest hit of the band’s career. The group’s next album, the platinum-certified Slip Of The Tongue (1989), is represented here by the hit singles “The Deeper The Love” and “Now You’re Gone.”
In addition to the album tracks “Don’t You Cry” and “Midnight Blue,” the set also introduces three previously unreleased outtakes from the Into The Light album sessions: “With All Of My Heart,” “Yours For The Asking,” and “Let’s Talk It Over.” The albums Restless Heart (1997), Good To Be Bad (2008), and Forevermore (2011) are also represented on the compilation with multiple tracks (“Too Many Tears,” “Summer Rain,” and “Easier Said Than Done”).

ROB HALFORD Says His Collaboration With NERGAL Will 'Definitely' HappenJUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford says that a collaboration between him and BEHEMOTH frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski is "definitely gonna happen."
Halford has long spoken about wanting to work on a black metal album, with initial discussions between him and EMPEROR's Ihsahn taking place back in 2006. More recently, Rob has said that he met Nergal and told the BEHEMOTH leader that he loved his music and expressed an interest in a possible collaboration.
Asked in a new interview with Elliott Fullam of Little Punk People if the Nergal "jam" is "still possible," Halford said (see video below): "I love Nergal so much. He's so fierce. He's so in his world, and I really admire that in any musician that has that conviction. It's something that it's always there — you know, this backburner thing. It's on the bucketlist, however you wanna call it. It's definitely gonna happen. Just for me as a singer, I've always admired that kind of performance, the way Nergal uses his voice. So one day there'll be a duet with Nergal and The Metal God. It's gonna happen."
Two years ago, Nergal said that it felt "surreal" and "amazing" to know that Halford is a fan of BEHEMOTH. "I feel flattered and honored," he said. "I met Rob a couple of times. Actually, I'm gonna tell you the story how I met him the second time. It was the last SLAYER show [of the North American tour], and we were just running from room to room, signing each other's posters and all the memorabilia and stuff. And I'm just rushing into SLAYER's room without even knocking on the door, because that's how chaotic the whole day looked like. And I'm just entering the room, and it's quiet. There's, like, 10 people — all the bandmembers, like SLAYER — and Kerry King [SLAYER guitarist] is standing next to Rob Halford and they're watching something and it's quiet. And I'm, like, entering the room, like, 'Sorry.' And I backed off. And then I was, like, 'Oh, shit. Ah, fuck. I'm re-entering.' And I just re-entered, just pretending it's natural circumstances for myself. 'Hi, what's up?' [Laughs] And I approached them to say hi to Rob, and Kerry was, like, 'Yeah, we were just watching a clip from you jamming with us a SLAYER song. It's cool.' And I was, like, 'Holy fuck!' I was starstruck. I love it. It's awesome."
Nergal added: "Thank you, Rob. Thanks for being The Metal God, and thanks for supporting… you know, small fish as well. [Laughs]." 25

QUEEN's BRIAN MAY Is 'Grateful To Be Alive' After Heart Attack And Stomach HemorrhageBrian May says he feels "grateful" to be alive after suffering a heart attack, a stomach hemorrhage and other health complications this year.
The QUEEN guitarist appeared on Tuesday's (October 27) episode of "Good Morning Britain" where discussed his terrifying health ordeal.
"It was pretty bad, and the complications that came after it were pretty bad," he said (see video below). "So it's been a big mountain to climb to get back to strength again, but it's become my new religion, really. I do my cardio rehab every day, and I'm getting strong. I'm gonna be Iron Man soon.
"I had a wonderful, wonderful surgeon, and I'm so grateful to be alive. 'Cause a few years ago, that couldn't have happened. I had three stents in me" — referring to short, wire-mesh tubes that act like a scaffold to help keep an artery open — "which are working just fine, and I feel good."
As for the stomach explosion, the 73-year-old said: "That was the point where I nearly lost my life, actually — not the heart attack, strangely enough.
"You have to be so careful with the medication that they give you, because it's great for the stents, it's great for the heart, but it's not very good for the rest of your body, and you can really go down. So it's a tightrope.
"The worst thing that happened was the stomach hemorrhage, and I lost an awful lot of blood all at one time and just was wiped out," he added. "I couldn't move, I couldn't get across the floor. So that was the worst point for me. But I had a bit of a bad time all around. It sounds amusing, really. A catalog of disasters. 'Cause I had sciatica as well, and I'm not quite sure how I got that. But the pain from that was so excruciating, I couldn't really go through the operation at first. The actual heart operation was a doddle compared to the sciatica."
A few days ago, May told The Express explained that he thought coronavirus was to blame for his health scare because he was "the fittest person on that last QUEEN tour we did” and "didn't tick any of the boxes to get a heart attack."
"I have one theory, which is: I'm conscious that I had a pretty bad cough most of the way through that tour. And some of the time I felt pretty grim and I thought I was just feeling tired," he said.
"I think it's possible that I had the COVID virus early on in the tour of Korea, Japan and Australia in January, and got through it, but it's thickened the blood, which apparently it does, and that could have been the trigger that gave me the heart attack.
"I thought it was too early to get it [COVID] but the evidence now seems to be that the virus was around," May added.
Brian also thanked his wife Anita Dobson for saving his life.
"She was incredible," he said. "She totally saved my life because I couldn't do anything and she just kind of nursed me, so I will forever be in her debt. She did an incredible job on me." 2

SHARON OSBOURNE Says She And OZZY Were Victims Of Credit Card FraudSharon Osbourne says that she and husband Ozzy were victims of credit card fraud.
The 68-year-old discussed the incident during Tuesday's (October 27) episode of her talk show "The Talk". Speaking about how Conan O'Brien's late-night set was burglarized, she said (see video below): "That's so wrong. You know what? He's trying to give everyone some entertainment to make people feel as normal as possible. A little fun at the end of every day. It's wrong.
"But I'll tell you what else is wrong," Sharon continued. "It's my [daughter] Kelly's birthday today. I went out last night to pick up her gift. I give my credit card, and they come back and they say, 'Do you have another credit card? It didn't go through.' And I say, 'Well, just try it again, put it through again.' It still didn't go through. 'Do you have another one?' I said, 'Yes, of course I do.' I hand them Ozzy's. And then they come back and they go, 'Do you have another one? It didn't go through.' I'm, like, 'What's going on?'
"Someone rang up charges and maxed out Ozzy's card and my card," she revealed. "I called through to the credit card company, and they go, 'No, no, no. You're maxed out. So is Ozzy, on this account.' I'm like, 'I don't go to that store, or to that store.'"
Sharon went on to say that she has been working with the credit card company on the fraudulent charges, adding that she was still able to get a last-minute birthday gift for Kelly, who turned 36 on Tuesday.
When the coronavirus pandemic struck, Ozzy had just released his first solo album in a decade, "Ordinary Man", which he recorded late last year while recovering from surgery and related illnesses. The BLACK SABBATH singer had previously scrapped all his 2019 and 2020 tour plans.
Ozzy was also forced to cancel an April trip to Switzerland to see a doctor who specializes in treatment of Parkinson's disease. The singer revealed earlier this year that he was diagnosed with the condition.
This past May, Ozzy's son Jack said that his father will "probably" retire "within the next five to ten years." But Ozzy, who turned 71 last December, has repeatedly said that he is not calling it quits, despite the fact that his "No More Tours 2" — whenever it ends up happening — is being billed as his last major global trek. 10

OVERKILL Bassist D.D. VERNI's THE BRONX CASKET CO. To Release 'The Complete Collection' Box SetOVERKILL bassist D.D. Verni's THE BRONX CASKET CO. returns on November 13. On that day, Deko Entertainment will release "The Complete Collection", a five-disc box set including all four of the band's studio releases plus unreleased bonus material.
D.D. states: "It's Halloween and Friday the 13th all within a two-week period...so must be time for a new BRONX CASKET CO. release! "
THE BRONX CASKET CO. was founded by Verni and released the self-titled "Bronx Caset Co." on Massacre Records in 1999. It was followed up by "Sweet Home Transylvania" in 2001, "Hellectric" in 2005 and "Antihero" in 2011. The band is rounded out by guitarist Jack Frost (SAVATAGE, SEVEN WITCHES, LIZZY BORDEN), keyboardist Charlie Calv (ANGEL, SHOTGUN SYMPHONY), drummer Tim Mallare (OVERKILL, M.O.D.) on the first three releases and Rob Pallota (25 TA LIFE) on the later, and originally fronted by Myke Hideous (MISFITS, EMPIRE HIDEOUS) on the first three albums, with D.D. taking over vocals full time on "Antihero".
This release is completely re-mastered by Alan Douches (MISFITS, MASTODON) and includes a bonus disc of early demos, unreleased remixes, a cover of MISFITS classic "Ghouls Night Out", and a brand newly recorded mash up of the classic BLACK SABBATH tracks "The Writ/Megalomania" titled "Sabatage-d".

A bonus disc with demos and extra tracks, as well as all kinds of collectibles makes it something really unique.
"It was fun to get back with the guys to bang out the BLACK SABBATH 'Sabatage-d' song too. [It] felt almost like we never took a break.
"I get asked all the time if there will ever be another full-length album... Hey, ya never know."

PSYCHOSEXUAL Feat. Ex-FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Drummer JEREMY SPENCER: 'I Wanna Be The Blood In Your Cut' Music VideoJeremy Spencer, former drummer and co-founding member of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, has unleashed a new project stemmed from the darker corners of his psyche with the industrial-tinged gothic rock band PSYCHOSEXUAL. Taking the persona of front man Devil Daddy, Spencer has created a dauntless soundscape for listeners that is equal parts horror and fantasy. In celebration of the macabre for Halloween, PSYCHOSEXUAL has unveiled its new charmingly grim new single, "I Wanna Be The Blood In Your Cut", with an anime-inspired music video to coincide with its chorus sung entirely in Japanese. The song is taken from the band's debut full-length album, "Torch The Faith", which came out in July.
"'I Wanna Be The Blood In Your Cut' was something that came to me one night when I was having a goth moment, missing the sounds of TYPE O NEGATIVE, and even the nu-wave flavorings of Gary Numan," recalls Spencer. "I felt like doing a dark, demented kind of love song, and I think that translates very well. As I was writing the lyrics, I was visualizing them coming to life via anime, which gave me the idea for not only the video, but to also sing a chorus in Japanese. I've always loved touring Japan, and the language has always fascinated me, so it all came together rather organically."
"Torch The Faith" was co-produced by Spencer and Shawn McGhee (DROWNING POOL) and is available via Spencer's 6eX Records. The LP consists of 12 tracks, including the original English-only version of "I Wanna Be The Blood In Your Cut" as well as an alternate mix featuring TYPE O NEGATIVE guitarist/co-lead vocalist Kenny Hickey.
"I'm a fan of so many types of music — from David Bowie to DEVO to black metal bands," shares Spencer. "PSYCHOSEXUAL is the outlet I've needed to bring all these things together in one big evil stew."
PSYCHOSEXUAL is rounded out by guitarist Crucifier, bassist Astaroth and drummer Volac, and they plan on hitting the road to torch the masses in 2021.
Jeremy, who co-founded FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH with guitarist Zoltan Bathory, left the band so that he could undergo back surgery in the fall of 2018 that required a significant recovery period.
Spencer's replacement in FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is Charlie "The Engine" Engen. Engen made his recording debut with the band on the "F8" album, which came out in February.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN's SERJ TANKIAN Performs At 'Rock For Artsakh: A Concert for Peace' (Video)On October 28, SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman Serj Tankian was part of "Rock For Artsakh: A Concert for Peace" online concert organized by ONEArmenia to raise funds for the people in Artsakh and Armenia. Serj performed a song written for all the people that lived freely and happily in Artsakh before the recent attacks.
"For their safety. For their future. It's time to give — all of us," Serj said.
In the early morning hours of September 27, forces in Azerbaijan began a large scale pre-meditated offensive attack on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh), an independent and autonomous country that borders Armenia, populated with a vast majority of ethnic Armenians. International peace keeping powers are doing very little to dissuade Azerbaijan's advances and the people of Artaskh are doing everything they can to defend their lives and homeland, where they have lived for thousands of years. For them, this a matter of survival, and nothing more as Azeri forces are trying to do little less than eradicate the 150,000 people that these lands are home to.
Artsakh gained independence in the early 1990s from Azerbaijan after years of war and conflict beginning soon after the 1988 collapse of the Soviet Union, of which both countries were a part of. After gaining its own independence from the Soviet Union, Armenia has been a guarantor of Artsakh's security. A cease-fire was agreed to between the countries in 1994, but over the past two decades, Azerbaijan has frequently broken this pact via mostly minor to moderate advancements and skirmishes along the line of contact.
This time, Azerbaijan, with the aid of Turkey's Recep Erdogan regime and military forces, launched a large-scale offensive attack along the full eastern border of Artsakh and has launched attacks within the borders of Armenia as well. 6

BLACK FATE Release “Maze” Music VideoGreek power prog Black Fate is sharing with fans their new music video "Maze" in support of the new album Ithaca released on October 23 via Rockshots Records and Rubicon Records in Japan.
The band comments about the song:
"'Μaze' is one of the most representing tracks for Ithaca and Black Fate in 2020. It has one of our favorite guitar riffs and one of the catchiest choruses in the album. The middle section shows our atmospheric and progressive side. With haunting melodies and vocals, delicate keyboards, and a technical yet very melodic solo, Maze is one of our favorite songs in Ithaca'.
With their heartbreaking world-class vocals, catchy hooks, and lyrics, along with crashing guitar riffs, haunting melodies, and furious technical and melodic solos, Black Fate continues to satisfy bands with the release of their fifth studio album. Ithaca was mixed and mastered by Steve Lado and follows full-lengths Between Visions And Lies (2014) (Ulterium Records), Deliverance Of Soul (2009) (Asiral Records), A Piece Of Dream (2002) (Secret Port Records), and Uncover (2001) (Secret Port Records).
The band comments on the release of Ithaca:
"Ithaca is melodic, technical, and groovy, but also a bit dark. It has beautiful and strange melodies with powerful emotions. We believe it's an album for all kinds of metal audiences. We hope the fans will see it the same way. We see Ithaca as a very integrated album. Fans who have followed us over the years will also notice many changes in the songwriting process, we concentrated to find the best form and the best overall result for every song."
Today, the band is sharing their first single "Savior Machine" and comments about the track:
"A fast tempo song, maybe the fastest track of the album with aggressive guitars, dark melodic and catchy vocals, fast drumming, and intense choral keyboards."

DÉLUGE Launch “Digue” Single, VideoOn November 6, France's Déluge will release their sophomore album, Ægo Templo, via Metal Blade Records. For a preview of the record, a video for the new single, "Digue" (directed by VCR), can be viewed below.
Déluge comments: "We see life as a perpetual battle with your inner self, and 'Digue' (dike, breakwater) symbolizes that constant fight to stay in the bright side of life. To win this battle, we feel the necessity to embrace the dark part of it, in order to see every little glow in the darkness slowly becoming a strong flame, the need to change our perception to eventually see beauty where it is. But it is a curse and a deep weakness not being able to see beauty otherwise. The different scenes in the music video play with these emotions and the battles you fight with yourself, trying to keep yourself into the light."
Ægo Templo can also be pre-ordered in the following formats here:
- digipak-CD
- 180g black vinyl (EU exclusive)
- blue / white / black marbled vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 300 copies)
- white vinyl (EU exclusive - limited to 200 copies)
- gold / black dust vinyl (Kings Road exclusive - limited to 100 copies)
- gold vinyl (US exclusive)
France has long been a fertile breeding ground for black metal, and one of its best kept secrets is Déluge, who have been kicking up a blend of that genre and post-hardcore since 2014. Dropping their debut full-length Æther in 2015, in 2020 they return with sophomore effort Ægo Templo, a more accessible record that pushes their sound in ever more imaginative directions. "I wanted to go further into something more 'easy to listen to', but I really did not want to lose what we had, that melancholia and the essence of our music," states founding guitarist François-Thibaut Hordé. "It was a very interesting - and exhausting - challenge, and to me we have succeeded. We are really proud of this new record."
Produced by François-Thibaut with assistance from engineers Thibault Chaumont/Deviant Lab studio (Igorrr, Carpenter Brut, Birds in Row) - who also mixed and mastered the album - and Amaury Sauvé / The Apiary studio who recorded the drums, Ægo Templo marks a bold step forward from their earlier recorded output. Featuring clean vocals on almost every track, keyboards and additional instruments on several songs, plus soprano saxophone on "Opprobre", this new offering separates Déluge from their contemporaries, all the while maintaining their identity.
The band also turned to Valnoir from Metastazis Studio in Paris to once again design their artwork, and they asked several artists to guest on the record: Tetsuya Fukagawa of Japanese Screamo legends Envy adds vocals to "Gloire Au Silence"; Matthieu Metzger provides saxophone on "Opprobre"; and Hélène Muesser contributes vocals on "Abysses", "Ægo Templo" and "Digue" - all helping to add further depths to the music.
Ægo Templo artwork and tracklisting:
"Soufre"
"Opprobre"
"Abysses"
"Fratres"
"Gloire Au Silence"
"Ægo Templo"
"Baïne"
"Digue"
"Béryl"
"Vers"
"Digue":
"Opprobre":
Even in these uncertain times, what comes next for Déluge is clear - their goals are undeniable: "We want to be touring as much as we can, spreading our bright music as much as we can, and going much further than the metal scene can offer us."
After Ægo Templo's release, Déluge will head out on the road with label-mates Igorrr for a tour of France and Switzerland in December. See below for all dates!

NERVOSA Launch New Documentary Video Series; Part 1 StreamingA heavy, incontrollable vortex led by the full-speed thrash/death metal engine Nervosa is ready to attack the world and leave nothing but Perpetual Chaos (out January 22 via Napalm Records) in its wake. Their talented new line up - featuring founding guitarist Prika Amaral and talented new members Diva Satanica on vocals, Mia Wallace on bass and Eleni Nota on drums - strike with inexorable full femme power, showcasing their ability for critical and straightforward lyricism mixed with an intoxicating blend of thrash spiced with remarkable death metal assaults.
The band has launched a new documentary series, which will be released in four parts. Part 1 can be seen below:
Nervosa's high-speed new single, “Guided By Evil”, is the first offering from next year’s full-length and highlights their sinister new facets, whilst also underlining their unmistakable thrashing roots. The fitting audio-visual grabs the demons by the horns and evokes a bloody, enigmatic spell. The first single pulls no punches by dissecting the concept of two-faced people who eventually stab you in the back - truly guided by evil. Enter the coven and be a part of the next generation of Nervosa!
Guitarist Prika Amaral comments: “It was a wonderful experience with these girls, they are all very talented and did an excellent job, I have never been so happy with the final result of a record. I chose Artesonao studio in Malaga, because it is isolated and in an extremely beautiful place, we worked hard but we had the best vibe between us.”
Watch the video for “Guided By Evil” below.
Perpetual Chaos was recorded in Malaga at Artesonao Casa de Grabación Studio by Martin Furia, who also produced the new full-length with Prika Amaral - the explosive outcome is mastered by Yarne Heylen.
Vocalist Diva Satanica on the album process: “It was undoubtedly a very intense process in every way. Not only did we learn to work together, but also to get to know each other and live together. I am very lucky to be able to be part of a project like this and I am sure that with the release of this album, Nervosa will take a very important step in its career. Working with Martin Furia was incredible, he helped me to find nuances in my voice that I didn't know I had. Get ready, for a new era more powerful than ever!”
Guided by a marvellous force of uncompromising thrash and death metal, the raw power of Perpetual Chaos has its finger on the pulse of time: lyrically, Nervosa does not hesitate to tackle issues that impact the very core of society as we know it. From political grievances and amplifying the voices of minorities to protesting against factory farming, capitalism and succumbing to the ill-informed musings of social elites - these commanding women do not mince words. Tracks like the airtight opener “Venomous”, the fast-twitching “Until The Very End” and “Time To Fight” prove that Nervosa’s revitalized identity experiments with both fresh new elements and crucial auditory foundations without succumbing to any clichés. “Genocidal Command” perks ears with Diva Satanica’s vocal eloquence, accented by the outstanding range of Schmier (Destruction) whilst mirroring a rousing thrash metal manifest. A tremendous outcome awaits with brawl-brushed guitar lines, blisteringly fast drums and critical lyricism - striking the listener in a way only Nervosa could. Viva Perpetual Chaos.
Perpetual Chaos will be available in the following formats:
- Deluxe Edition: LP Gatefold Vinyl Splatter Blue/Red + 7 Inch incl. Bonustrack, Sticker and Patch - strictly limited to 300 copies
- LP Gatefold Vinyl Red Transparent - limited to 500 copies

FOZZY Putting Finishing Touches On New Album RecordingsFOZZY is putting the finishing touches on its new studio album for a 2021 release.
On Tuesday (October 27), FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho posted a photo of him sitting in an airplane, apparently on his way to the recording studio in Atlanta, and he included the following message: "It's time to finish up this new rock n roll record.... #OneSongLeft #Fozzy2021 @fozzyrock".
Chris recently revealed that FOZZY's next LP will contain 12 songs, including one cover. During the July 25 episode of his "Saturday Night Special" weekly live series, he said: "It's our best album ever by far, and I can't wait for you guys to get a chance to hear it. And we're gonna start recording vocals… We did four songs of vocals already. And one of the songs is called 'Ugly'. There you go. U-G-L-Y. You ain't got no alibi. That's all I'm saying."
This past May, Jericho told Australia's Triple M radio station that FOZZY has "so many great songs" written for the new LP that "it's gonna be hard to pick the singles."
Guitarist Rich Ward and producer Johnny Andrews are once again "doing the lion's share" of the songwriting for the new LP, which is being recorded primarily in Atlanta, Georgia.
Released in August 2019, "Nowhere To Run" was FOZZY's third single to hit Top 10 on rock radio, following "Judas" and "Painless".
In addition to producing "Judas", Andrews previously co-wrote FOZZY's "Lights Go Out" track back in 2014. He has also written songs with the likes of ALL THAT REMAINS, THREE DAYS GRACE and HALESTORM.
Earlier this month, FOZZY announced the "Capturing Judas" livestream, set to take place on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 9 p.m. EST on Veeps.com. The band will appear in its first global live streaming event from Madison Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets, tee shirt bundles, and VIP Virtual Meet & Greet packages are on sale now at FOZZY.veeps.com. Additionally, fans who purchase "Capturing Judas" will be able to watch the livestream or watch on demand until November 29. For more information, visit CapturingJudas.com.
The event, aptly titled "Capturing Judas", is a journey through the band's "Judas" touring cycle. The pre-show will begin with the special world premiere of "Fozzy Across America", filmed October 13, 2017, the day FOZZY celebrated the release of "Judas" by performing three shows, in three different time zones, on the same day. This 30-minute documentary pulls back the curtain to provide unprecedented, behind-the-scenes access to the band as you've never seen them before. Following "Fozzy Across America" is the final live performance of the "Judas" set that was performed in over 200 cities around the world and will include stories of the road.
"After having to postpone our 'Save The World Tour' multiple times due to the continuing lockdown, we decided we wanted to do something special for all of our fans worldwide who rocked with us over the past three years on the 'Judas' tour cycle!" stated Jericho. "So, on November 14, we will be coming at you LIVE without a net, to play some kick-ass rock 'n' roll for you all! We're also gonna tell you some fun road stories, have a few drinks and maybe even do some Riverdancing! So come join us and let's all celebrate and commemorate the most successful album and tour of FOZZY's career."
FOZZY is Chris Jericho (vocals), Rich Ward (guitars, vocals), Frank Fontsere (drums), Billy Grey (guitars) and Randy Drake (bass).

Watch IN THIS MOMENT's Music Video For 'As Above So Below'IN THIS MOMENT has just dropped the sanguine music video for the song "As Above So Below". The track is taken from the band's latest album, "Mother", which came out in March. Recorded, once again, at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko, the disc contains three covers, including the STEVE MILLER BAND's "Fly Like An Eagle" and QUEEN's "We Will Rock You", which features vocal backup from HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale and THE PRETTY RECKLESS's Taylor Momsen.
"We are so excited to show the world the magic we created with handsomedevilspuppets and Jeremy Saffer," says IN THIS MOMENT frontwoman Maria Brink. "It was a challenging time to bring a music video together with everything that's been going on, so we had to get creative. We are so thrilled with the outcome and that we had to push ourselves out of our box to manifest this video. We feel grateful to collaborate with other artists and to be able to bring 'As Above So Below' to life for all of you. Enjoy."
Originally formed by Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005, IN THIS MOMENT released its debut album, "Beautiful Tragedy", in 2007. Their 2014 album "Black Widow" landed at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
Last month, Brink told the Philadelphia radio station 93.3 WMMR that she and her IN THIS MOMENT bandmates were "talking about" hosting a special livestreamed concert for fans amid the coronavirus pandemic. "We're all separated, though, throughout the country — we don't live in the same place — so we're just trying to figure out how's the best way to do this," she explained. "But we definitely are gonna do that, and we're talking about it."

FILTER Makes Fun Of 'TRUMP-Supporting Nutbags' With 'Murica' VideoFILTER has released the official music video for its new single, "Murica". The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, which mastermind Richard Patrick is recording with such players as original FILTER member Brian Liesegang and guitarists Jonny Radtke and Alex Crescioni.
Speaking to Alternative Press about the "Murica" clip, Patrick said: "The character in the video is a Trump-supporting, gun-loving, unmedicated, super-freak 'merican unhinged and at his wits' end. And he's trying to take control of something that is not out of control. And he's afraid. He's the super-afraid white male. The Trump-supporting nutbag that I hope I can reach.
"These guys that are so far right that they think CNN, NBC, ABC, MSNBC [and] BBC are all out to get our President Trump. Like they're all in a conspiracy to be super-left-wing, crazy liars. I'm trying to make an attempt to show them what they look like. These are the guys that can only listen to Fox News and Breitbart and that type of news outlet. They believe every fucking thing that the Rush Limbaughs, the Alex Joneses [say] and listen to only the right wing, 'the truth, man.' They do their 'own research' and believe 9/11 was an inside job, President Obama wasn't a real citizen and the lunar landings were faked. Hillary Clinton personally went out and killed people in Benghazi and it's her fault, she's [a] criminal and 'lock her up.' It's those people that I'm portraying in the video.
"Who is the character aiming at at the end of the video? He's aiming at anyone from the left and at anyone from the normal middle. The regular folks who make up the country that are pretty much normal and just want to raise their kids and stay COVID-19-free and try and make a living."
Asked if he thinks "Murica" is going to piss people off or it's going to be a rallying point, Patrick said: "I just wanted to show this surreal, crazy side of what America looks like. I literally am doing it just so the record shows that someone was willing to fuckin' say something about the right. Something about how crazy they are.
"A lot of my fans are from the right, and they're, like, 'Man, I like 'Hey Man, Nice Shot'. Why are you fucking talking about politics?' Because it has to be done. Someone has to say it. I'm not hearing a lot of hip-hop guys sayin' it. Country music represents the right. I'm not hearing anyone from the left say anything. Let the public record show that I tried something during this time period that at least maybe 100,000 fans are going to see on YouTube. At least I know that I said something, and I tried, and that's it.
"I don't make music to try and get rich. I have built up my scoring career, and I can make money other ways other than just selling records. For me, FILTER are my mouthpiece.
"I just wanted to make a video that was like what MINISTRY in 1988 might've done right now. From my earliest upbringings, something like U2's 'New Year's Day'. They were a political band. They wrote 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', and they were talking about things that were important to them in Ireland. I just feel like there's no other choice for me right now than to examine the craziness of America. This place known as Murica."
Richard has successfully led and spearheaded FILTER for the last 20 years, releasing many platinum records, including "Title of Record" and "The Almagamut".
The reunion of Patrick and Liesegang reportedly happened after they were challenged from the stage in mid-performance by their mutual friend Louise Post of VERUCA SALT, who stopped her concert to admonish them "to bury any bullshit, forget the crap, and get their shit together." The two had an interesting conversation on the drive home. After initially treating their renewed collaboration as an experiment to see what "might happen," they rediscovered not only their friendship, but also their unique "yin and yang" working style.
FILTER's most recent LP, "Crazy Eyes", came out in April 2016 via Wind-Up Records. 2

SACRED REICH Releases Music Video For 'Something To Believe'Arizona thrash metal veterans SACRED REICH have released a music video for the song "Something To Believe". The track is taken from the band's latest album, "Awakening", which was released in August 2019 via Metal Blade Records. SACRED REICH's first LP in 23 years was produced by Arthur Rizk, who has previously worked with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, POWER TRIP and CODE ORANGE, among others. The album marks SACRED REICH's first release since the return of drummer Dave McClain.
SACRED REICH comments: "With the uncertainty that we are all experiencing, we think it's time for 'Something To Believe'."
"Awakening" was described in a press release as "a timeless collection comprised of blistering thrash, crushing grooves, killer solos and socially conscious lyrics that demonstrate a true understanding of everything that matters most in the world today."
Last year, SACRED REICH guitarist and founding member Jason Rainey exited the band for "health reasons" and was replaced by Joey Radziwill. Rainey died in March of an apparent heart attack.
Speaking about SACRED REICH's current lineup, Rind said: "Dave is such a killer drummer and person. He works every day to become a better drummer, and I mean every day. His work ethic is inspiring. As much as he has accomplished, he is still open to what comes. Joey brings a higher level of musicianship and tightness to our band, and he brings a freshness to us. He gives us an opportunity for us to see things from a different perspective, and all of us were blown away by what he can do with a guitar and how effortlessly he does it."
"Awakening" was engineered by John Aquilino and was mastered by Maor Appelbaum.
Regarding the new LP's musical direction, Rind said: "Going into it, we had a loose idea as far as knowing that we wanted some fast, heavy songs to honor the old school fans that have supported us and gotten us to this point. We wanted everything to happen naturally. We didn't want to force anything and we are super stoked with every song. It is easily the best thing we have ever done. Regardless of what happens with the record, the experience of making it was enough to satisfy us. Obviously, we hope people like it, but even if it tanked, it could not change the way we feel about it. We know what we did." 3

STÄLKER Release Gruelling, Gory Horror Music Video For "Holocene's End" SingleNew Zealand's speed metal overlords, Stälker, are returning with yet another lesson in raw and in-your-face heavy metal, breathing the spirit and danger of the glorious 80s. Following 2019's globally acclaimed Powermad EP, the band's impatiently awaited second full-length album, Black Majik Terror, will be released on October 30 via Napalm Records.
Today, the band releases a delight for every fan of aggressive 80s metal as well as any horror aficionado out there. The music video for their third single, "Holocene's End", is another monument of classic B-Movie extravaganza: drenched in occultism, dirt and a lot of gore. A masterpiece on its own.
Proving that they aren’t afraid to change the pace to set the right mood, “Holocene’s End”'s intro shows Stälker nearing doom metal territory before plunging back into the speed metal we know them for. This eerie introduction immediately invokes an unsettling aura that is only heightened by Daif’s anguished vocal performance and maniacal laughter. As the track’s speed picks back up to match the rest of Black Majik Terror, “Holocene's End” offers one of Stälker’s most ambitious song structures to date, graced tastefully with an exceptional call and response solo from guitarist Chris and capped off with a classic horror fueled synth outro. “Holocene's End” is without a doubt one of Stälker's most unique numbers.

FOREIGNER Shares Election-Inspired Version Of 'Feels Like The First Time'Legendary rock band FOREIGNER is inspiring first-time voters and fans to head to the polls with an election-inspired version of hit song "Feels Like The First Time", which dropped today on the band's social media channels. Filmed in partnership with HeadCount, a non-partisan organization that uses the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy, FOREIGNER's Kelly Hansen, Jeff Pilson and Bruce Watson recorded the video from ballot boxes across Los Angeles. HeadCount's mission is to inform and empower through importance of voting through music and culture into real action.
FOREIGNER's last album, "Can't Slow Down", was the only full-length collection of new songs to have been released by the band since Hansen took over vocals after original singer Lou Gramm left the band for good in 2002. The album entered the Billboard Top 30, driven by the radio singles "In Pieces" and "When It Comes To Love". The band also has released a series of live albums and compilations, including 2016's "In Concert: Unplugged" and 2017's "40".
Hansen told The Rockpit that the process of making "Can't Slow Down" was "incredibly exhausting" and "a lot of hard work." He added: "It took up any empty time that we had and our energy, and it took huge amounts of money to complete that record. And the day that it was released, people were trading it for free on the Internet. That's really disappointing, when you know how much time and effort you put into something.
"I would never say never, but from having had that experience, I think people who aren't musicians or trying to make a living as an artist will understand that it's just become the norm now — you don't pay for anything you just get it for free," he continued. "Or, even if you subscribe to a music service, the amount of cash that goes to the artist for a download or a stream is absolutely inconsequential. It means absolutely nothing to anybody. I'll give you an example. I had a large piece of a song, and I got a statement for my royalties, and it streamed 42,000 times, and I got 42 cents. That's indicative of the times."
FOREIGNER's current lineup is rounded out by Mick Jones (guitar), Tom Gimbel (rhythm guitar, sax, vocals), Michael Bluestein (keyboards) and Chris Frazier (drums).

HAMMERFALL's OSCAR DRONJAK: 'You Can't Have A Metal Concert With A Seated Audience'Guitarist Oscar Dronjak of Swedish metallers HAMMERFALL spoke to Barbara Caserta of Italy's Linea Rock about what the touring circuit might look like post pandemic. He said (see video below): "We're hoping that things will get back to normal soon enough. I don't know what it'll take — probably a vaccine, I guess — to make sure that the virus don't spread at the concerts.
"It's still strict rules and regulations in Sweden as well, or live music and sporting events and stuff like that. They just today, actually, raised the level from 50 people to 300, but that is seated audience only, for sporting events as well as music, and also at least one meter or whatever distancing between the seats — unless you went there with your wife or something, then you can sit together, of course. But for people you don't know, there's gotta be some distancing, like a meter or a meter and a half or something. So for a lot of the sports teams, they get some reprieve now a little bit at least. It's not much, but it's better than 50 anyway. But as far as metal concerts and stuff, you can't have a metal concert with a seated audience; it's ridiculous. And not just that — you need to have at least a part of the people in front so you get that vibe and back-and-forth that I think is absolutely vital for a heavy metal concert.
"For the future, we're trying to make things happen, but right now, the next thing that we've got going is June, the festivals in Europe, and I'd say right now, it's about 50-50 chance that it'll happen," Oscar added. "They're booked and everything, but I doubt that they will be able to go through with all of them. I think that's gonna be really, really difficult. So we'll see what happens after that.
"You could be angry about it or sad about it, and, of course, it sucks ass, but what are you gonna do? There's nothing anybody can do about it. You just have to accept the fate and do whatever else you can do — live your life as best as you can in the meantime. That's what we're trying to do."
HAMMERFALL released a new live set, "Live! Against The World", on October 23 via Napalm Records.
HAMMERFALL's latest album, "Dominion", was released in August 2019 via Napalm. For the disc, HAMMERFALL re-teamed with James Michael to do vocals at Red Level Three studios, and Fredrik Nordström of Studio Fredman at Castle Black Studios for the instruments. 2

DRACONIAN Unveils Hauntingly Beautiful Video For "Sleepwalkers"With today’s release of their fifth single, “Sleepwalkers”, Swedish doom/gothic metal masters Draconian mark the apex cut from their upcoming studio album, Under A Godless Veil, out this Friday, October 30, via Napalm Records.
Along with an atmospheric conceptualized music video that epitomizes the essence of the five-piece in the most beautiful manner, Draconian lure the sleepwalkers and insomniacs of this world into their fragile soundscapes: Made of atmospheric gothic doom, contrasting darkness and light, heaviness and weightlessness as well as soft intermezzos with smashing screams, “Sleepwalkers” embodies another highlight of the breathtaking, seventh full-length.
To be released exactly five years after Draconian’s latest album, Sovran, Under A Godless Veil not only demonstrates another masterpiece that proves the unit to rightly be on top of the genre, but is a manifest of their productive partnership with Napalm Records as well. This longtime collaboration started with the first studio album, Where Lovers Mourn (2003), and has now reached its provisional pinnacle with the seventh epos and second with the talented Heike Langhans on vocal duties.
Singer Heike Langhans comments on “Sleepwalkers”: “My heartsong of the album. Like a graceful requiem to ourselves, 'Sleepwalkers' perfectly encapsulates the sentiments of a lost and weary soul. Subtle, yet a rallying cry - fast becoming my favourite Draconian song to date.”
Under A Godless Veil delivers a captivating mélange of dreary doom and contrasting vocals and is already the second offer featuring the stunning singer Heike Langhans: The mix of Heike’s angelic, female voice and Anders Jacobsson's thrilling death growls will drag the listener into a sorrowful cosmos. Already the first notes of the opener will draw you into the void of interweaving beauty, coalescing with paralyzing depression that leaves nothing but the desire of total immersion in the whole record. Under A Godless Veil carries the legacy of gothic doom metal à la My Dying Bride into a new decade of the genre.
Draconian states: "To us, Under A Godless Veil is by far the most diverse album we have created. Inspired by some of the music closest to Johan’s heart; everything from traditional Doom to scaled-down, Gothic rock-inspired pieces and more. Some will perhaps describe the songs as more refined and meditative. Some ambient elements have been added to the mix without overshadowing the traditional characteristics that are Draconian. Resonating with the compositions, Anders’s lyrical direction is ambiguous and a progression of the first two-three albums, yet more subtle while embracing the Gnostic philosophy more directly. One could say Under A Godless Veil is an act of contemplation; About living and dying and remembering who we are in a strange, abrasive world far from home.“
Under A Godless Veil will be available in the following formats:
- CD Jewelcase
- 2LP Gatefold Black vinyl

TYPE O NEGATIVE Sock Puppet Parody TUBE SOCK NEGATIVE Release "Sock Nvr. Worn" Video Paying Homage To "Black No. 1"Here’s a Halloween special to lose your threads over: Tube Sock Negative, a gothic group of animated undergarments, has set out to prove that black matches with everything and that even the tightest knit sock can have a soft side. The sock puppet outfit’s song, “Sock Nvr. Worn”, pays homage to its undead counterpart, Type O Negative’s 1993 hit “Black No. 1”.
By emulating the dark and ominous themes found in the lyrics of the late Peter Steele, “Sock Nvr. Worn” delves into the harsh reality that “life is lonely for a stocking not used.” The “moon beam’s sheen” offers a glimpse into the vampiric features of Feeter Steel as he gazes upon the “brand named mark” across his mistress. Functionless laundry is simply vagrant cotton. They are the vagrants.
YouTube artist Sock Puppet Parody has created a laundry list of parody videos including sock puppet tributes to Slayer, Metallica, Slipknot, and many more. This year's Halloween iteration was lovingly carried out by steadfast fans of Type O Negative! Don't mistake lack of socks for fashion.

ASPHYX Announces New Studio Album 'Necroceros'Dutch death doom elite ASPHYX will release its 10th studio album, "Necroceros", on January 22, 2021 via Century Media Records. The LP was recorded at Tom Meier's Tom Meier Studio and at Paul Baayens's The Mörserstudio, and mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann at Greenman Studios. It once again features front cover artwork by Axel Hermann.
ASPHYX frontman Martin Van Drunen comments: "The first recordings for 'Necroceros' started somewhere in November 2019. Mainly just rough ideas. We hired Tom's studio for a couple of jam sessions so we could record as soon as we thought something had potential. We finished about six or seven songs, but after a few listenings we decided there had still quite some work to be done.
"After the three previous albums and this one being ASPHYX's 10th official full studio record, we were very well aware that the standard had to be incredibly high. Our advantage was that for the first time we had a steady lineup. Since 'Incoming Death', we were damned good 'worked in' together, one 'felt' what the other wanted or where he was music-wise going. With Paul having tons of riffs on the shelves, the earlier takes and the unexpected rapidly spreading COVID-19 outbreak and thus all our gigs being canceled one after the other, we booked Tom once more for a bunch of jam-recordings. Which turned out marvellously...
"It took two weekends to finally arrange all songs and tape the drum-tracks. Going completely berserk while playing and being totally satisfied with the variety, rawness, brutality and dynamics of each particular track, we were 100% certain that we were heading in the right direction.
"Long before all the above was happening, I already had introduced 'Necroceros' as a working title. It came out spontaneously, sounded powerful and since we used the word 'Death' in every release title, so did 'Necro'. The idea was a sci-fi fantasy entity on an eternal course, existing only to devour planets, turning universes into meaningless voids. And while the boys were laying guitars and bass over the drums I searched and wrote the themes and lyrics for every single track.
"To mix with Seeb was a shot in the dark, but he had told me one of his wishes was to ever be able to mix a death metal album for a band like ASPHYX. And since we wanted a fresh input, we gave him a chance by letting Seeb do a test and it fused simply excellent.
"As always, we passed the working title on to Axel Hermann to skizz about and let him throw his morbid imagination over it with detailed bits and pieces. And once more he didn't let us down with another brilliant masterpiece.
"And here we are. Something old, something new, something krushing, something sparkling, something alcoholic, something genius, but all very, very ASPHYX!"
A first single and video clip for the upcoming album will be launched together with more details about "Necroceros" at the start of the album's pre-order campaign on November 6.
ASPHYX's previous and much acclaimed studio album "Incoming Death" was released in September 2016 and entered the official sales charts in various European countries as follows: Germany: No. 30, Switzerland: No. 67 and Belgium (Wallonia): No. 78.
ASPHYX is Martin Van Drunen (vocals), Stefan "Husky" Hüskens (drums), Paul Baayens (guitars) and Alwin Zuur (bass). 19
