THE WILDHEARTS Release NSFW Video For 'Let 'Em Go'British rockers THE WILDHEARTS have released a NSFW video for their new single, "Let 'Em Go". The song is taken from the band's first full-length studio album in 10 years, "Renaissance Men", which was released on May 3.
THE WILDHEARTS comment: "'Let 'Em Go' is a song about ridding your life of wankers. THE WILDHEARTS feel it is healthy to demand quality friendship and get rid of all the shit from your life."
THE WILDHEARTS' classic lineup of Ginger, CJ, Ritchie and Danny recorded the energetic and diverse "Renaissance Men" at the Treehouse Studio. Produced by Jim Pinder, "Renaissance Men" finds THE WILDHEARTS at their full creative tilt delivering hard-hitting, retooled classic rock with a modern twist. Bristling riffs and jagged, riotous hooks are their poison and the 10 songs, including the radio hits "Dislocated" and "Let 'Em Go", are the perfect manifestation of the band's immutable wit, charm and righteous anger.
The cover art for "Renaissance Men" was created by renowned artist Eliran Kantor (TESTAMENT, ATHEIST, SODOM) and can be seen below.
"Renaissance Men" track listing:
01. Dislocated
02. Let 'Em Go
03. The Renaissance Men
04. Fine Art Of Deception
05. Diagnosis
06. My Kinda Movie
07. Little Flower
08. Emergency (Fentanyl Babylon)
09. My Side Of The Bed
10. Pilo Erection
To coincide with the release of "Renaissance Men", THE WILDHEARTS' classic lineup of Ginger, CJ, Ritchie and Danny will play an eight-date U.K. tour. This intimate trek will start in Manchester at the Academy 2 on Friday, May 3 and conclude at the Riverside in Newcastle on Sunday, May 12.
"Well, fuck me, it's only been 10 years since our last release and we have a monster album on its way," CJ said. "Danny is back in the band and we hit the road in May, playing new tunes and all the old hits. Can't wait and I know the boys are super bloody excited for this. ROCK!"
Creatively brilliant, THE WILDHEARTS play a distinctive fusion of hard rock, perfectly complemented by contemporary melodies.
With a career spanning nearly 30 years THE WILDHEARTS helped change the landscape of British rock through the '90s, and to this day they haven't shown any sign of slowing down.

HAMMERFALL Releases '(We Make) Sweden Rock' Single, Reveals 'Dominion' Album DetailsSwedish metallers HAMMERFALL will release a new album titled "Dominion" on August 16 via Napalm Records. The disc's first single, "(We Make) Sweden Rock", can be streamed below.
Vocalist Joacim Cans describes the creation of "(We Make) Sweden Rock": "This is a glorious tribute to the Swedish hard rock and metal movement with a lyrical theme using direct references to both other bands and songs. With catchy contagious riffs and enchanting (ear-worm) melodies, this song will be an instant classic at future HAMMERFALL shows. Without the Swedish rock and metal scene with bands like HEAVY LOAD, AT THE GATES and Yngwie Malmsteen, the world would be a pretty boring and dull place! This is our noble tribute to all the bands that inspired not only us to play metal, form bands and eventually crusading around the world in the name of heavy metal. All hail the sons of the northern light! “
The band has also unveiled the album cover art and track listing for "Dominion". The artwork was created by renowned visual artist Samwise Didier.
"Dominion" track listing:
01. Never Forgive, Never Forget
02. Dominion
03. Testify
04. One Against The World
05. (We Make) Sweden Rock
06. Second To One
07. Scars Of A Generation
08. Dead By Dawn
09. Battleworn
10. Bloodline
11. Chain Of Command
12. And Yet I Smile
HAMMERFALL's last album, "Built To Last", was released in November 2016 via Napalm Records.
In 2017, drummer David Wallin returned to HAMMERFALL — nine months after he left the group in order to focus on his family life. 44

Video Premiere: SABATON's 'Fields Of Verdun'Swedish heavy metal heroes SABATON have released the official music video for the song "Fields Of Verdun". The track is the first single from the band's ninth full-length album, "The Great War", which is due on July 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band's 20th-anniversary record will be a concept effort covering stories from the First World War.
Bassist Pär Sundström comments: "We choose 'Fields Of Verdun' to be the first single since we felt it represent the album perfect, a classic SABATON metal song which we cannot wait to include in the future setlists.
"The story of the battle of Verdun is also very representative for the album since it has all elements that identifies with 'The Great War'. Verdun is so much WW1 that we decided to hold the first album presentation in this city, inviting journalists from around the world to not just hear the album, but also understand the story behind it.
"It is the first single from the upcoming album even if we just released 'Bismarck', but that song is not from the upcoming album. We decided to write 'Bismarck' outside the album since the story does not connect to WW1 and also that it was recorded at a different time. The meaning of this song was a tribute to all fans who have contributed over the years by sending us ideas for future songs, please continue with that!"
"The Great War" track listing:
01. The Future Of Warfare
02. Seven Pillars Of Wisdom
03. 82nd All The Way
04. The Attack Of The Dead Men
05. Devil Dogs
06. The Red Baron
07. Great War
08. A Ghost In The Trenches
09. Fields Of Verdun
10. The End Of The War To End All Wars
11. In Flanders Fields
SABATON started recording "The Great War" exactly 100 years after the end of the First World War (November 11, 1918) and took three months of intensive work to complete the album with longtime producer and collaborator Jonas Kjellgren at Black Lounge studios. The disc was mastered by Maor Appelbaum and the artwork was once again created by Peter Sallaí.
"This is not the first time we sing about stories from this period in time, but now we felt the timing was right to make a full concept album about this war," the band said.
Side by side with the album, the Swedes have worked hard to make their 20th year anniversary a very exciting year, and also started the SABATON History Channel — a unique collaboration between the band and multimedia historians Indy Neidell and Timeghost, capturing the power of social media to tell stories about the wars, battles and heroes behind SABATON's songs.
"This is the biggest album we have taken on so far. There is so much depth and story around the songs that we never had before," bassist Pär Sundström states. "Expect many surprises as we have tried new things and we also went back in time to a concept we know a lot of you love. 'The Great War' has been created side by side with the SABATON History Channel to make 2019 the most exciting year in our 20-year history.”
SABATON's new disc is the group's first with guitarist Tommy Johansson (GOLDEN RESURRECTION, REINXEED), who replaced Thobbe Englund in 2016. 4

OF MICE & MEN Releases Music Video For New Song 'Mushroom Cloud'OF MICE & MEN has released the official music video for a new song called "Mushroom Cloud". Check it out below.
Commented singer/bassist Aaron Pauley: "I was pretty young when I became aware of the danger of spending too much time in my own head. My mind has never been a safe place for me to retreat to, and it's something I have to consciously deal with on a daily basis. 'Mushroom Cloud' is our visceral representation of how it feels to be trapped, how it feels to be cut down by your own inner voice, how it feels to have nowhere to hide, and how it feels to be someone with a mind that's as dangerous to themselves as the aftermath of an atomic weapon."
OF MICE & MEN has been in the studio working on new material with producer Josh Wilbur.
The band's previously released single "How To Survive" marked the first taste of new music from the Southern California quartet since last year's much-praised "Defy" album.
"Defy" marked OF MICE & MEN's first full-length release without vocalist Austin Carlile, who left the group due to his ongoing battle with Marfan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that afflicts the connective tissue holding the body's cells, organs and tissue together.
OF MICE & MEN is currently supporting BEARTOOTH and will play a handful of headline shows as well.
Last month, Pauley was "cleared" to return to the road after undergoing surgery in early April to have some precancerous tissue removed.
OF MICE & MEN pulled out of the first six shows of its U.S. tour with BEARTOOTH so that Pauley could have enough time to recover from his surgery.
This past March, OF MICE & MEN scrapped its concert in Hartford, Connecticut after Pauley was taken ill. That medical issue was apparently unrelated to his most recent surgery.

BON JOVI Guitarist's PHIL X & THE DRILLS Premier "Something To Say" Music VideoPhil X, prolific studio guitarist, songwriter and renowned guitarist for Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Bon Jovi, recently announced the forthcoming studio album by his band, Phil X & The Drills. A new video for the album opener, "Something To Say", can be found below.
The new album, featuring Drills bassist Daniel Spree, alongside Phil X and special guests (listed below), offers six new songs by the band and is out tomorrow, Friday, May 3.
Phil X & The Drills appeared in the rock music world with their first album release, Kick Your Ass In 17 Minutes, in September 2009. The opening track “Air Hockey Champion Of The World” established the group as serious rock contenders with an added touch of humor and a unique blend of modern rock that stated the obvious inspirations of the classic archives the band grew up on. Garnering immediate praise from critics, the band drew a global following in a short time with sales on 7 continents.
2011’s We Bring The Rock N’ Roll and 2012’s We Play Instruments N’ Shit offered a consistent stream of new music that showcased the above the board talents Phil X maintains. These have made him sought after for studio work with artists including Tommy Lee, Alice Cooper, Orianthi, Rob Zombie and Triumph among others. Cemented into the framework of modern rock music, Phil earned a slot in the band Bon Jovi, even performing on stage with the band during their 2018 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.
Answering an interview after the recording of Bon Jovi’s 2016 release This House Is Not For Sale, Phil stated that a new album would be in the making, and it would include a host of friends recording it. Gathering the tribes and being patient has made it worth the wait.
The album is titled Stupid Good Lookings, and has the abbreviation Vol. 1 on the corner. Phil X shared with publicist Joe Dolan that with the success of this recording and the fun he’s had making it... Vol. 2 is already looking like something to come in the near future.

VINCE NEIL: Multi-Camera Video Of Recent Solo ConcertYouTube user " BLANDINI videos by Eric Hutcheson" has uploaded two multi-camera video clips of a recent solo concert by MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil. Check them out below.
Neil is continuing to tour the world with his backing group, which includes Dana Strum and Jeff Blando from SLAUGHTER, along with drummer Zoltan Chaney.
Speaking to "Trunk Nation", Vince acknowledged that he is currently the only member of MÖTLEY CRÜE who is waving the flag for the band's music by performing CRÜE songs as a solo artist.
"It's a cool thing, because I love MÖTLEY CRÜE, I love MÖTLEY CRÜE's music, and I love singing, and I love the fans' reactions when they hear the songs," he said. "Whether we're playing in front of a thousand people or twenty thousand people, I can only see the front row anyway. So I'm happy for me and for the fans to be able to still hear that music after MÖTLEY CRÜE is finished."
The film adaptation of MÖTLEY CRÜE's biography, "The Dirt", was released on March 22. The movie, which was helmed by "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" director Jeff Tremaine, was picked up by Netflix after being previously developed at Focus Features and before that at Paramount.
Last year, MÖTLEY CRÜE recorded four new songs for "The Dirt" movie, including the single "The Dirt (Est. 1981) (Feat. Machine Gun Kelly)", "Ride With The Devil", "Crash And Burn" and the band's own spin on Madonna's "Like A Virgin".
MÖTLEY CRÜE's last studio album was 2008's "Saints Of Los Angeles", which was followed by a 2009 "Greatest Hits" compilation.
In 2015, MÖTLEY CRÜE completed "The Final Tour", closing the book on the band's iconic career after performing a total of 164 shows in 72 markets, grossing over $100 million.
To cement the sense of finality, the four members of MÖTLEY CRÜE in 2014 publicly signed a "cessation of touring" contract that prevents any of them from performing under the CRÜE name in the future.
A tour film about MÖTLEY CRÜE's final shows, "The End", came out in 2016. 1

METALLICA's "WorldWired" tour has played more than 130 shows across the world since its 2016 kick-off.
Last November, drummer Lars Ulrich told The Mercury News that the trek could last through early 2020.
The San Francisco Bay Area metal giants have been touring in support of their latest album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", which came out in November 2016.
With dates already locked in through the fall, Ulrich was asked if he is tired of touring yet. He replied: "We have the luxury, and we are very fortunate, to be able to set a touring schedule that works really well for us. We kind of set boundaries. We have a two-week rule, so that after two weeks we come home and see our families and kids and get a sense of San Francisco. So, for about a decade, we've had a really good setup in terms of how we balance all of it. It takes longer to play the same amount of dates. But the good news is that our chances for not losing our minds — or for playing all the shows, physically, mentally — are much higher, because we have a pace that we feel is at the right level for us. So, it's good. We still have to go to Australia. We still have to go to Japan. We have a couple of other things planned after Europe."
Pressed about whether there is any chance the tour will reach into 2020, Lars said: "This may just dip into the beginning of 2020."

ABBATH: 'Calm In Ire (Of Hurricane)' Lyric VideoThe official lyric video for "Calm In Ire (Of Hurricane)", a new song from ABBATH, the solo project of former IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name Olve Eikemo), can be seen below. The track is taken from ABBATH's second album, "Outstrider", which will be released on July 5 via Season Of Mist. The disc was recorded at Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway with producer Endre Kirkesola, who has previously worked with BLOOD RED THRONE, GREEN CARNATION, SIRENIA and IN VAIN, among others.
Track listing:
01. Calm In Ire (Of Hurricane)
02. Bridge Of Spasms
03. The Artifex
04. Harvest Pyre
05. Land Of Khem
06. Outstrider
07. Scythewinder
08. Hecate
09. Pace Till Death (BATHORY cover)
The artwork was created by Kim Holm and Olav Iversen.
When Abbath announced that he had left IMMORTAL, it sent massive shockwaves through the metal scene. The iconic frontman had long become the "face" of the Norwegian black scene, his image synonymous with the genre. Upon releasing his debut album with his eponymous new band, ABBATH, in 2016, trve fans were satiated with a dose of icy, blackened fury.
Now, the Norwegian giant returns for round two, armed with a refined lineup and ready to strike with a sophomore effort that is sure to once again exceed the expectations of ABBATH's loyal fanbase. "Outstrider" sees a maturation in sound, delivering a tighter, well-rounded offering from the band as they come into their own identity.
While there are moments that certainly channel the frosty hallmarks of IMMORTAL, there is no danger of ABBATH repeating that formula. ABBATH draws from NWOBM and melodic influences, adding a fresh new flavor to the sound that the band's founder came to define.
"Oustrider" consists of eight, crushing original songs and concludes with a fiery BATHORY cover. The album promises a full-on aural assault from start to finish with frigid riffage and a robust pocket that are layered with vocals from one of the most identifiable voices in black metal.
ABBATH 2019 is:
Abbath - Vocals, Guitar
Ole Andre Farstad - Guitar
Ukri Suviletho - Drums
Mia Wallace - Bass 4

ARDOURS Feat. TRISTANIA Singer MARIANGELA DEMURTAS: 'Last Moment' VideoThe official music video for the song "Last Moment" from ARDOURS, the new alternative gothic metal band featuring lead vocalist Mariangela Demurtas (TRISTANIA) and multi-instrumentalist and producer Kris Laurent, can be seen below. The group's debut album is tentatively due later this year via Frontiers Music Srl.
Originally formed in 2015, ARDOURS was the product of Mariangela and Kris's longstanding friendship from both of their involvements in the Sardinian (Italian) metal scene. In 2006, Mariangela moved from Italy and joined the Norwegian band TRISTANIA, but she and Kris always kept in touch. In late 2015, having always admired one another's musical talents, they decided to join forces. Hard work and dedication have been the key for their upcoming debut album, "Last Place On Earth", which is due out later this year.
"When I joined TRISTANIA," says Mariangela, "the band had already a strong identity and so I had to fit with their style, but also had to bring something new and fresh to the sound, and I think we worked that out very well. I am very proud of the two albums we released together.
"TRISTANIA is more of an introspective and articulated sound in comparison to ARDOURS.
"I feel very grateful and thankful to the band for what I have learned throughout these years. But, on the other hand, I needed to do something different, something where I could be the main singer, where I could sing the words with passion and with the warmth of my voice.
"ARDOURS has more rock and '80s influences compared to TRISTANIA, including a bit of new wave sound which is something that me and Kris love.
"When I chose to be part of this project, I knew I wanted to sound very expressive without being technical so that I could give a more nostalgic sound to the words. This is the way I saw ARDOURS sounding and I cannot wait for people to hear it!"
Since Mariangela wanted ARDOURS to be a melting pot of different personalities to add to the unique flavor of the songwriting, she decided to ask TRISTANIA's drummer/lyricist Tarald Lie to write the lyrics and record the drums for the album. The mix of these three elements has resulted in a fresh and promising style, straddling the lines between rock, metal, and goth. The gothic atmosphere created in the mesh of the lyrics and the catchy melodies immediately caught the attention of Frontiers A&R team, who snapped up the band as soon as they heard the music.
"I sent the music to Frontiers presenting our work and they have been very positive about it since the beginning, giving us strong feedback and collaborating with us in any kind of decision regarding this project. I loved the fact that they really liked our music, so we decided to sign with them," concludes Mariangela.
Fans of THE GATHERING, LACUNA COIL, latter-era TIAMAT and the like should keep their ears open for ARDOURS.
ARDOURS' first live show will happen on September 7 at La Cueva Rock in Quartucciu (Cagliari) Italy.

Former GREAT WHITE Singers JACK RUSSELL And TERRY ILOUS Perform Together In California (Video)Former GREAT WHITE singers Jack Russell and Terry Ilous teamed up over the weekend to perform one of the band's classic songs.
During Saturday's (April 27) JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE concert at The Canyon Santa Clarita in Valencia, California, the original GREAT WHITE singer invited his successor Ilous to join him on stage for a rendition of their former band's song "House Of Broken Love".
Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen below (courtesy of Michael Eskenazi).
Ilous wrote after the show: "Saturday I was invited by Jack Russell / JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE to attend his show at The Canyon Santa Clarita. I was surprised and humbled that they asked me up on stage for a bit of 'House Of Broken Love'. While many have assumed negativity between us in the past, I was brought on after Jack had been let go, and in fact we never held any ill will towards each other. Jack is the real deal, one of the founding members, and the voice of GREAT WHITE. I am grateful to Jack, GREAT WHITE, and the fans for all your support while I was in the band."
Jack responded in his own post: "Thank you, Terry Ilous, for the kind words! It was our pleasure!"
Last summer, Russell blasted his former bandmates for the "despicable" way Ilous was kicked out of the group.
Ilous, formerly of '80s L.A. hard rockers XYZ, joined GREAT WHITE in 2010 after replacing touring vocalist Jani Lane (WARRANT).
The Ilous-led GREAT WHITE released two albums, 2012's "Elation" and 2017's "Full Circle", before Terry was shown the door in July 2018 and replaced with Mitch Malloy.
Ilous later released a statement in which he claimed he was blindsided by his dismissal from GREAT WHITE, saying that he "proudly invested" all of his energy and focus "into the GREAT WHITE brand."
In an interview with Daily Boom, Russell, who was himself fired from GREAT WHITE in December 2011 (after being on hiatus from the group since 2009), commented on Terry's exit from the band, saying: "I actually heard for the first time one of [GREAT WHITE's] more recent songs about a month ago and I have to admit that Terry Ilous's voice sounded really good on it.
"I was really surprised that they [GREAT WHITE] let him go recently, and so I got in touch with him because I've heard he's a really nice guy," he continued. "I have a feeling we're going to end up being friends. We're both singers and we've both got lead singer disorder [laughs] and I don't blame him for anything. He just took an opportunity that was offered to him and it was a good career move, so why not? He wasn't being deceptive at all; it was my dear friends that were. They turned around and did this lousy thing to him and he was totally blindsided and I feel really bad for him.
"I saw the video of them with their new singer and Terry onstage together [at the Monsters Of Rock cruise in February 2018], showing that it was in the works for months, and, to me, that just made it such a despicable act," Jack added. "They couldn't tell him in person or even make a phone call, and that was exactly how it happened to me. That was what upset me. It wasn't the fact that they didn't want to play with me, because I get it — I was a mess, I was a total wreck — but rather than have that conversation, they kept dodging me. I know what that's like to be treated that way, and I felt bad for him. Terry is a good guy, and I wish him the best. I have no ill will towards anyone at this point, and I wish them all the best, but Terry maybe just a little more success than the others now."
Russell sued his onetime bandmates in 2012 over their continued use of the GREAT WHITE name after the singer had taken a leave of absence from the band for medical reasons. A short time later, Russell was countersued by guitarist Mark Kendall, keyboardist/guitarist Michael Lardie and drummer Audie Desbrow, claiming the vocalist's self-destructive behavior was damaging the GREAT WHITE name (they also alleged he was charging promoters less for his own touring version of GREAT WHITE). The parties settled in July 2013 without going to trial, with Russell now performing with a new lineup as JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE while the others are continuing as GREAT WHITE.

"When we recorded the song 'Shut Up', I knew right then and there, on that day, straight away, what I wanted to do if we were ever to make a music video for it," states NEW YEARS DAY frontwoman Ash Costello. "It came to me immediately. So when the time came and 'Shut Up' was chosen for a music video, I was thrilled because it meant that I'd get to make my vision come to life, which was to recreate one of my favorite horror movies of all time, 'American Psycho'."
"Shut Up", the lead single off NEW YEARS DAY's latest full-length album, "Unbreakable", is celebrating five weeks on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and five weeks on the Active Rock chart and is currently No. 21 on both charts. Released on April 26 via RED Music, it is the follow up to the band's 2015 LP, "Malevolence", which hit No. 45 on the Billboard 200, thanks to the radio hits "Defame Me" and "Kill Or Be Killed".

AEROSMITH Performs First-Ever TYLER/PERRY Songwriting Collaboration, 'Movin' Out', In Las Vegas (Video)AEROSMITH has released a video of the "Movin' Out" performance from the band's April 23 concert as part of the "Deuces Are Wild" Las Vegas residency.
"Movin' Out" was the first song that Steven Tyler and Joe Perry wrote together — while sitting on a water bed at AEROSMITH's Boston apartment — and it is a standout cut on the group's 1973 debut album.
AEROSMITH wrote in an accompanying caption: "50 years of AEROSMITH history in one special moment. From the first song ever written, to the Las Vegas strip and we ain't done yet!"
AEROSMITH kicked off the "Deuces Are Wild" residency on April 6 at Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort. The residency, promoted by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, features never-seen-before visuals and audio from AEROSMITH recording sessions. Grammy Award-winning producer Giles Martin, known for creating the soundscape for "The Beatles Love" by Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, created a spectacular show experience.
AEROSMITH has teamed up with THX and L-Acoustics for the residency at Park Theater to deliver the world's first THX Certified live performance presented in L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound.
AEROSMITH is scheduled to play 26 more shows in Las Vegas dates before the end of the year — five in June, four in July, four in September, four in October, seven in November, and two in December. The band also has multiple-night "Deuces Are Wild" engagements booked at MGM properties in National Harbor, Maryland; Atlantic City, New Jersey; and Springfield, Massachusetts.
In addition to the "Deuces Are Wild" shows, AEROSMITH is slated to make two festival appearances this summer: July 14 at the Roxodus Music Fest in Edenvale, Canada; and July 19 at the Twin Cities Summer Jam in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Video Premiere: SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS' 'Boulevard Of Broken Hearts'SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS have released an official live video for "Boulevard Of Broken Hearts", recorded at the band's sold-out live performance at The Eventim Apollo in London on February 20. The stunning clip features the album version of the song overlaid with intimate backstage footage and live footage from the Eventim Apollo and shows why the band is such an incendiary live draw.
The video, shot and edited by Dan Sturgess, acts as the perfect precursor to SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS' remaining tour dates throughout 2019. May and June sees Slash tour South America, before returning to Europe though June and July. The band then plays Israel, Canada and the U.S. through July and August.
"Boulevard Of Broken Hearts" is taken from Slash's latest album, "Living The Dream", which was released in September via his own label Snakepit Records, in partnership with Roadrunner Records.
"Living The Dream" is Slash's fourth solo album, and third with Slash and his bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass and vocals) and Frank Sidoris (guitar and vocals). The artwork was created by renowned visual artist Ron English.
Slash stated about "Boulevard Of Broken Hearts": "This might have been the last thing I came up with and brought to the band. It was another idea I had where I wasn't sure the other guys were going to get where I was coming from. But the chorus was done in such a way that I'd knew they'd get that part of it, and from there all we'd have to do is figure out the verses and the other sections. It actually came together really quickly, and after Myles heard it he had a vocal melody almost instantaneously."
Added Myles: "It's a newer one, for sure. Lyrically, it's about having this awareness that you're really close to obtaining your goals, as well as beating the odds. I thought about it from the perspective of a young musician striving for something, only the doors keep closing on him. But he's already come so far. So, it's a reminder to stay on course because you're almost there. It seemed like a good idea to end the record on. Keep pushing through and persevering, and eventually what you're shooting for will happen."

SABATON Shares APOCALYPTICA's Cover Of 'Fields Of Verdun'Swedish heavy metal heroes SABATON have shared "Fields of Verdun", the first song from their upcoming album "The Great War", as performed by their friends in Finnish cello rock band APOCALYPTICA. Check it out below.
SABATON bassist Pär Sundström comments: "I watched APOCALYPTICA's show in Madrid last year and I was blown away by the magic atmosphere they created. This made me excited to see what these fantastic musicians could do with a SABATON song! And what would be more fun than to let them record their version of a song not yet released?"
"The Great War" will be released on July 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band's 20th-anniversary record will be a concept effort covering stories from the First World War.
SABATON's new disc is the group's first with guitarist Tommy Johansson (GOLDEN RESURRECTION, REINXEED), who replaced Thobbe Englund in 2016. 4

THE THREE TREMORS Feat. TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS, SEAN PECK And HARRY CONKLIN: 'Fly Or Die' Video"Fly Or Die", the new video from THE THREE TREMORS, the project featuring acclaimed heavy metal singers Tim "The Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin (JAG PANZER) and Sean "The Hell Destroyer" Peck (CAGE, DEATH DEALER, DENNER/SHERMANN), can be seen below. As seen in the striking clip, footage of fighter planes and THE THREE TREMORS singing the tune on a landing strip is on display throughout.
Says Sean: "This video was great to shoot on a bunch of levels. First, I am a big war buff and being in the cockpit of that Mustang was incredible. To think all those brave warriors did battle in those tight, cramped cockpits gives you an entirely new perspective on just how insane it must have been. Next, I think the metal godz were smiling on us that day as it was the eye of the storm, and the only clear day without heavy rain for two weeks straight. The mountains surrounding San Diego were covered in snow and the air was crisp. It was a glorious day to do this tribute to such an important event in American history. After playing this song live now for over 30-plus shows, a lot of fans have been calling it the 'Aces High' of the modern age, which, of course, is the ultimate heavy metal compliment."
Adds Harry: "Best 'hair day' of my life!! Blast being a part of the past! Always the best time of my life filming with my metal brothers!"
States Ripper: "This is another great song to play live. The place always fires off once this song gets going."
THE THREE TREMORS have just wrapped up their first-ever U.S. tour and are planning on remaining busy. More dates will be announced shortly.
THE THREE TREMORS' self-titled debut LP was released on January 18. The band nourishes in heavy metal anthems, and features the illustrious chops of guitarist Dave Garcia, whose tenacity fuels the fire, allowing the music to naturally flow in complimentary tone. Second guitarist Casey Trask picks up the pace and pushes the boundaries alongside bassist Alex Pickard, who highlights a melodic sensibility giving character to the overall tonality. On drums, the thrash machine Sean Elg adds in his perfectly placed fills and signature double bass patterns.
"Sean's band, CAGE, opened for JUDAS PRIEST on the 'Jugulator' tour in San Diego — that is where I first met him," recalls Ripper. "He hit me up about resurrecting the idea and actually doing a record, and then a band, to put this out in the live setting also, and I thought it sounded really cool. The record came out really strong and I think the fans deserved to have a thing like this actually exist. We performed two of the songs live already when I was out in San Diego shooting the video for the first single, and it was a blast."
"It was about [six] years ago, I was camping and thinking about the whole THREE TREMORS urban legend from long ago and what a shame it was that it never happened," says Sean. "Then I started thinking about if there was a resurrected 2018 version of it, who would I get, and Tim and Harry were at the top of my list. I immediately reached out to Tim, who agreed to embark on this adventure and Harry quickly joined next. It took a long time to put it together, create the right songs, and get it properly arranged, but the results are beyond my wildest expectations."
"Sean and I ended up at a party together in Germany, where we were both playing the same festival, and he told me about the THREE TREMORS album he was putting together and asked if I would be into it," adds Harry. "He described the concept and how he wanted to bring this old idea to actual life and I said I was in. Once I started hearing the songs that were being sent over for me to record, I knew this thing was going to be really powerful. Then when I got sent the final mixes with all three of us on it, my jaw hit the floor on how well it all came together. For heavy metal fans, this is the ultimate."
THE THREE TREMORS' self-titled debut highlights artwork ingeniously created by renowned artist Marc Sasso (DIO, HALFORD, ADRENALINE MOB, DEATH DEALER), to showcase an apocalyptic battle between demonic hyper-wolves and the Three Tremors, who marched into an underworld overshadowed by evil forces only armed with bullets powered by heavy metal sorcery to reclaim the dystopian lands. 3

VALE OF PNATH Reveal “The Darkest Gate” VideoTech death extremists, Vale Of Pnath, will release a new EP, Accursed, on May 17th via Willowtip Records. A video for "The Darkest Gate" is streaming below.
The band's second EP following two acclaimed full-lengths (2011's The Prodigal Empire and 2016's II), Accursed is fuelled with tech death adrenaline and shrouded in black metal's iniquitous aura. Those complementary qualities enhance what is unequivocally another giant step forward in penetrating songwriting dynamics. Concision with depth describes the five proper compositions, while the cold, mechanistic opening soundscape "Shadow And Agony" and chilling interlude "Audient Void", are equally vital in completing an EP that is best absorbed as a holistic musical experience, albeit one that is the stuff of nightmares. The picture painted is a bleak one, the intensity unleashed nothing short of devastating to the nervous system and traumatic to the psyche.

The origin of Tanith lies in Cindy Maynard (Bass, Vocals) and Satan's Russ Tippins (Guitars, Vocals) playing covers in clubs and pubs in Tippins' native UK, but it soon became obvious that they wanted to create content of their own, and form a full band. Deciding to locate the act in New York, they recruited close friend Charles Newton on guitar and drummer Keith Robinson to realize this. "Let me just say upfront that this is no solo project, but a four-piece band where each member has an equal say," Tippins says. "If I even wanted to call the shots these guys wouldn't let me! Collectively, we have a dynamic that really works. Not only are we friends who hang out as a matter of course, but musically the pieces all fit to make a picture. It's a rare thing and I appreciate it more than most, having played in so many bands previously." The manner in which the four musicians combine is indeed a special thing, and every contribution is essential. "Russ brings most of the substance, spirit and lyrics to the band," Maynard enthuses. "He's a visionary, so easy to work with creatively, and just loves getting together and playing with his friends. Charlie is a natural complement to Russ on the guitar, I would say technically and creatively, and he has a way of explaining things with a clarity that makes technically tricky things somehow simpler to execute. Then we have Keith, who is a great, flexible and tasteful drummer, and his grounded nature and playing really anchors everything we do." Tippins likewise enthuses about Maynard's contributions, heralding her as "an inspirational person who leads by example in every way. There is no one else I'd rather have beside me on stage, while off stage she is an orchestrator with the vision to keep things on point."
A home demo of the song "Citadel" - made by just Maynard and Tippins - marked the official birth of the band, and the subsequent 7" recorded with the whole unit demonstrated what happens when the four of them work together. Selling out of physical copies of the two-track 7" in ten weeks, the songs continue to sell on Bandcamp and have been purchased by fans in Thailand, Russia, Greece, Japan, Australia and numerous other territories - the band feeding on the enthusiasm garnered from around the world. Now, they're following it up with their debut full-length, In Another Time, which Maynard aptly describes as, "great riffs, lots of melody, interwoven parts, and twin fucking guitars! I think the record is refreshingly different from so many other records being put out now, and the analog warmth of the recording definitely adds to the feel and experience." Lyrically, they eschew the angry, cocksure, nihilistic, or occult-based subjects common to a vast amount of contemporary rock and metal bands, and instead come from a more positive place - Tippins asserting, "With Tanith we wanted to offer more of a message of hope, and an escape to the realms of fantasy. Broadly speaking, it's optimism over pessimism." All the tracking of the record was handled at Excello Studios in Brooklyn, NY, and owner Hugh Pool engineered and mixed the entire collection. "The analog equipment we tracked with affected not only the mood but also the creative process. Real analog equipment from the ‘60s and ‘70s has a distinct sound, feel and even smell," says Newton - and this only adds to the organic, old school feel of the record.

ELUVEITIE Debut Hurdy Gurdy Playthrough Video For "Deathwalker"Swiss folk metal superstars Eluveitie have released a playthrough video for their song “Deathwalker”, from their newly released album, Ategnatos. The new video features a performance of the track on the hurdy gurdy by Michalina Malisz. Watch below.
Commenting on the song and performing in the band, Malisz says, “I’ve played the hurdy gurdy for 5 years and using it in metal music is what I’m all about. Being able to do it as my job falls probably to the same category as winning a lottery, so I’m very thankful for it and excited about it! Here is a playthrough of “Deathwalker”, one of my favorite songs from “Ategnatos” with an epic hurdy line. It was a lot of fun to record it, I hope you’ll enjoy it as well!"
Order Eluveitie's Ategnatos here..
Recordings of Ategnatos took place in their beloved New Sound Studio with their engineer of choice Tommy Vetterli. “Yet it was radically different as we only had four weeks to record this time around - as compared to the eight weeks we had for Origins.” By taking mixing duties to the skilled hand of renowned studio wizard Jens Bogren in his Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, Eluveitie returned to the very spot where they mixed their now legendary Slania album more than ten years ago.
With Ategnatos, the dedicated nine-piece not only worked with a real string quartet (a premiere!) and granted Fabienne Erni’s sublime mastery of the harp the room it deserved; they also undertook a holistic upgrade resulting in some of the most catchy, most aggressive or most epic tunes the Swiss metal nobility has ever offered.

Eluveitie have announced their return to North America for a month-long co-headline Wanderers Towards Rebirth (Kulkija ad Agtegnatos) Tour with Korpiklaani in support of Ategnatos. The bands will be accompanied on the tour by Gone In April. Tickets are on sale now, here.
Chrigel Glanzmann (Eluveitie) says of the tour: "Hard to find words here and to express our excitement. First of all it's been incredibly long this tour is overdue! We cannot wait to finally come back to North America! Secondly, we have our brand new album ATEGNATOS under our belts, plus we've finally released the much-anticipated second part of our purely acoustic 'Evocation' cycle since we've been to North America the last time. And so we cannot wait to share all the new songs with you! And last but not least it feels simply great to once again tour with our very dear friends and fellow road warriors of Korpiklaani! Long story short: We're super excited and very much looking forward to soon tour in the USA and Canada again! See you all soon!"
Jonne (Korpiklaani) adds, "We are very much looking forward to the second North American leg of our Kulkija world tour. This time it will be a co-headlining tour with the Switzerland's own Eluveitie. First half of the North American tour at the end of the last year was a great success, so it is only natural that we will return there this soon. This will be our seventh North American tour, and we've played over 1000 shows around the world since 2003. Yet this still feels like we've only begun and have just now got the wheels properly rolling. However, before North America we still have a tour in Australia and New Zealand in May and of course a busy summer raising our pints around the various festivals in Europe."

Lacuna Coil adds: "Transformation is a process and as life happens you need tons of new music! That’s why we are really excited to team up with Eluveitie and our buddies in Infected Rain for this fantastic tour package. FULL OF HELL Streaming New Song "Armory Of Obsidian Glass"Extreme harsh-grinding quartet, Full Of Hell, are streaming the song "Armory Of Obsidian Glass", off their upcoming new album, Weeping Choir. Listen to the new track, featuring the inimitable Lingua Ignota on guest vocals, below.
Lingua Ignota comments: "'Armory Of Obsidian Glass' rips, and is probably my favorite FOH track to date, so it was a great pleasure to work on it. I wanted my vocals to provide a counterpoint to all the savagery, to pick up on and accentuate harmonic things happening in the music in an unexpected way. I think the effect overall is chilling, wild, and I’m excited for people to hear it - many thanks to my friends for letting me contribute to this amazing song."
Full Of Hell make their Relapse debut with their most explosive album to date, Weeping Choir, coming May 17. Dynamic, pissed, and wholly urgent, the highly anticipated Weeping Choir is a definitive statement of intent by one of the underground’s most dynamic and virulent entities.
Weeping Choir is due out May 17th on CD/LP/CS/Digital. Physical packages are available for pre-order via Relapse.com here. Digital Downloads / Streaming Services are available here.
On Weeping Choir, Full Of Hell have once again culled the extreme elements from hardcore, metal, and power electronics to redefine darkness and sheer brutality. Distorted guitars, and ominous, disparate electronics grind and gnash against rapid-fire drumming, as Full Of Hell take themes of religion, loss, hatred, and set them ablaze. Recorded by the critically acclaimed Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio, Weeping Choir sees Full Of Hell fully unleashed. Abrasive, confrontational, none equal!
