LIV SIN - Former SISTER SIN Vocalist Releases "Slave To The Machine" Single; Lyric Video Streaming"Slave To The Machine", the brand new single from Swedish metal act Liv Sin - fronted by the towering vocals of Liv Jagrell (former Sister Sin singer) - is out now. A lyric video for the song can be found below.
The band comments on the single: "In today's world it feels like you are more and more controlled by other people and material things, rather than being able to have full power over your own life choices. That's what 'Slave To The Machine' is about. Historically conflicts used to often be about the people versus "men of power" and society, but today it's also about the worshipping of smartphones, social media and others approval. What does that do to our lives and minds? In the end it might just be another way to control us. This is definitely a concern for me, and I wonder where we are heading when everyone becomes a 'Slave To The Machine'."
Following on from the acclaimed Follow Me album, Liv Sin return with the powerful and hard-hitting new single, taken from their upcoming new album, Burning Sermons. A hard-hitting but melodic statement of intent, "Slave To The Machine" ably demonstrates Liv Sin’s bite hasn’t diminished!
Channelling their love of classic heavy metal with a bruising modern edge, Burning Sermons is a riff-heavy collection; showcasing the band’s innate ability to match melody with aggressive metal with ease. Jagrell is in particularly fine form throughout, with a voice equally capable of capturing your heart as it is knocking buildings to the ground.
Produced by Emil Nontheist (Deathstars) in Black Syndicate studio, Liv comments on their decision to work with Emil; ‘We wanted to explore a more modern sound with some synthesizers on this album. I think that this album might surprise a lot of our fans. I have known Emil for many years, so it was really fun to reconnect. The first moment he sent us his ideas of our demos I was delirious!"
Burning Sermons will be released on September 6. Further details to follow.

SILVER SNAKES Release “Wool” Lyric Video; Death And The Moon Album Out In MaySilver Snakes have released lyric video, “Wool”, from their forthcoming new album, Death And The Moon. The record comes out May 3rd on Claudio Sanchez's Evil Ink Records.
Offering insights into the creative process for Death And The Moon, Silver Snakes singer/guitarist Alex Estrada says, "Back in the fall of 2017 I challenged myself to write a new riff and program a new beat every night. I would turn these quick ideas into short videos and post them online with no intention of developing them further. I called this collection of work 'Songs for the moon', alluding to their inspiration outside my window. These short songs are what really took shape and became Death And The Moon."
Speaking directly on their newest track, "Wool", Estrada adds, "One night I picked out a few random drum and thunder samples, manipulated their pitch and time and then laid them out into a mechanical rhythm that seemed to explode out of my headphones. I picked up my guitar (which happened to be tuned very low) and within a few seconds I had the skeleton of what would become the song 'Wool'. To me, it bridges the gap between our previous material and the shift we took with this new album."
Tracklisting:
“Smokedance”
“Worship”
“Wool”
“Tesserae”
“Eclipse”
“Mescaline”
“Black Fire”

HARDLINE Share "Page Of Your Life" Music Video; Life Album Out NowHardline have released their new studio album, Life, on CD/LP/Digital via Frontiers Music Srl. Orders are available here. A special limited edition colour vinyl version of the album is available exclusively at the Frontiers' EU store, here. A new video for the single, "Page Of Your Life", can be found below.
In the past two years, Hardline has performed a number of shows across Europe, including festivals and more intimate gigs, and that live “energy” can certainly be felt on their new studio album. The band went back to 1992's Double Eclipse album for influence for the songs on this record, but additionally they also looked a little closer in the rearview at the tremendous predecessor to this album, Human Nature.
The resulting album, Life, perfectly blends the influences of those two albums and sees Hardline heavier, stronger, bigger, and better than ever. The band entered the studio feeling loose and relaxed from all their gigging. The two newest members, Marco Di Salvia on drums and Mario Percudani on guitar, had gelled seamlessly with the rest of the band from all those shows and combined with Anna Portalupi's pulsating rhythms and Alessandro Del Vecchio's songwriting and production abilities, Life was almost effortless for the band to create. And of course, Johnny Gioeli sings like only he can over top of these incredible musicians.
Tracklisting:
"Place To Call Home"
"Take A Chance"
"Helio's Sun"
"Page Of Your Life"
"Out Of Time"
"Hold On To Right"
"Handful Of Sand"
"This Love"
"Story Of My Life"
"Who Wants To Live Forever"

The band will be touring throughout Europe and say they are currently working to make some shows happen in the US next year. “We’ve been touring steadily since 2013, and the promoters are realizing that Hardline really is back. We have an incredible chemistry with the current lineup and won’t be slowing down any time soon. It’s time to bring it home to the States.”
More dates will be announced soon for 2019 as well as a full second leg of the tour in 2020.

SAVAGE MESSIAH Premiers "Down And Out" Music VideoSavage Messiah have released a video for "Down And Out", the new single from their upcoming fifth full-length, Demons, out on May 17. Watch the clip below.
Demons is punctuated by sentiment more personal than anything the band have shared in the past. Singer and guitarist Dave Silver describes a band reborn on the new record. “I looked at what we’ve done in the past and knew we could be taking this band way further,” says Silver. “When you become a parent, your worries become multi-faceted,” he explains. “You worry about what happens to you and those around you. It’s the weirdest thing, the love you feel for your child, almost indescribable. I’ve never thrown myself into my lyrics like that before.”
Demons also sees a shift in production for Savage Messiah. After making four albums with Scott Atkins, the group enlisted producer David Castillo, renowned for his work with metal stalwarts including Opeth, Dimmu Borgir and Soilwork. The album was mixed by Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Kreator) at his Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

Exclusive: GHOULUNATICS Premiere First Single, Music Video In Over 10 YearsSince 1994, Ghoulunatics have been ravaging the underground with their personal blend of metal and hardcore and have built a solid discography of releases since then. As of April 26th, they will have a new addition, their first in over 10 years, the new single "Move Along" that continues their hardcore ‘rotten roll’, premiered exclusively on BraveWords!
The band comments:
"We hope our fans will be excited to hear new music from us. It will be the first new recording since the album Cryogénie in 2006. Bring on the shows!! We’re back!"
Working collaboratively, Patrick Mireault (vocals); Patrick Gordon (guitar); Gary Lyons (bass); Francis Dubois (guitar) and Brian Craig (drums) meld punk, death metal and rock n' roll together to form their signature diablerie. "Move Along" focuses on Ghoulunatics’ hardcore influences, and while they aren’t taking a new step musically, they have chosen to let this particular influence take the reins.
Ghoulunatics is sure to please anyone who appreciates a loud, explosive, rockin’ good time, especially those already interested in bands such as Entombed, Slayer, Cancer Bats.

AXEL RUDI PELL Releases "Only The Strong Will Survive" Official Live VideoThe world has changed. Axel Rudi Pell hasn’t. For three decades, the Bochum-based guitarist has ticked and worked like a Swiss clock releasing critically acclaimed hard rocking albums consistently. Like his anniversary offering, a live document of his most recent tour. And it will come out on the same record company as his debut in 1989; his contract with legendary label SPV/Steamhammer having lasted longer than the average marriage these days.
“SPV and I have grown together, we have witnessed highs and lows and we’ve managed to get through them all,” the 58-year-old musician states with a smile.
“Never change a winning team” is the secret of his success. Having sold more than 1.6 million records so far, Pell also has a ridiculous amount of online streams: his songs have been streamed more than 37.5 million times, figures he would never have dreamt of when he first started out.
XXX Anniversary Live, his 30th album release in as many years, will see the light of day on June 7. A milestone by all accounts and a stunning document of his most recent tour which he did not plan at all, but the recordings, from Bochum and Budapest among others, were so good that he felt he just couldn’t scrap them. They are a worthy follow-up to Magic Moments, his 3-hour anniversary show at the Bang Your Head festival in 2014, where he celebrated 25 years as a solo artist. BTW: Pell is planning to bring out another studio effort in spring 2020. The Swiss clock from the Ruhr area is still ticking.
Check out the official live video for "Only The Strong Will Survive" below.
Axel Rudi Pell: "'Only The Strong Will Survive' was recorded live in Langen, Germany last year during our Knights Call Tour, with the quiet guitar opening part coming from our show in Memmingen. Originally from the Kings & Queens album, we played that track live for the very first time last year and we really had fun doing that!"
XXX Anniversary Live will be released in the following configurations:

- Download

OZZY OSBOURNE Injured Himself When He 'Tripped Over A Shoe Getting Into Bed After Peeing'Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack has offered more details about the injury that caused the BLACK SABBATH singer to cancel all live appearances through the end of the year.
In early April, Ozzy postponed all his 2019 tour dates, both in North America and Europe, as he recovered from an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia. The singer fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating years-old injuries from his 2003 ATV accident that required new surgery.
Jack was asked for an update on Ozzy's health status during an appearance earlier this week on SiriusXM's "Jim Norton & Sam Roberts". "He's doing good," the 33-year-old said, adding that Ozzy's injury was sustained when "he tripped over a shoe getting into bed after peeing." Jack went on to say that Ozzy was "so bummed out" over having to cancel more shows.
In a separate interview with People, Jack said about his father: "He's back to being his cynical old self, [which] is always a good sign. When he's complaining about mundane things, you know he's good. Yeah, he's back to normal."
Most of the 2019 shows on what is being billed as Ozzy's last full world tour will be rescheduled beginning in February 2020. Fans are being asked to hold on to their original tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
The 70-year-old Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee has battled a variety of health issues since kicking off his farewell "No More Tours 2" tour last summer. He contacted a staph infection in October that forced the initial postponement of his North American tour dates.
In January, Osbourne scrapped his European tour because of an upper respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia, forcing him to cancel dates in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. 5

Watch BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's New Music Video For 'Bored To Tears'BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, led by American guitar icon Zakk Wylde, has released a music video today for the song "Bored To Tears". Once again directed by longtime director and collaborator Justin Reich, this is the second music video we've seen from the new, reimagined version of the band's iconic 1999 debut LP, "Sonic Brew". Due on May 17, "Sonic Brew - 20th Anniversary Blend 5.99 - 5.19" features the original formula with enhanced flavor.
Lollipops, dinosaurs, and dancing turtles. None of those things have ever been in a BLACK LABEL SOCIETY music video until now, and the band is not stopping there. Zakk comments: "With the new BLACK LABEL supah-exciting Technicolor dream coat high-calorie-burning video for 'Bored To Tears', I told BLACK LABEL director o' doom and delight, Father Justin Reich, that I wanted to do an 'exciting' and 'tough'-looking video in the movie genre style of Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson."
Zakk continues: "After seeing the video, apparently Father Justin Reich doesn't know who these legendary film icons are or has them confused with two other actors named Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. Every time I watch this video, I'm more confused than I was during the previous viewing."
"Bored To Tears" and "Spoke In The Wheel" are available as an iTunes instant-gratification tracks, meaning fans who pre-order the album on iTunes will receive both singles as instant downloads. "Spoke In The Wheel" and "Bored To Tears" are also available on all streaming services today.
Thanks to a new arrangement with record label Entertainment One (eOne), BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's back catalog is now all in one place, uniting the band’s earlier work with their more recent output. The "re-blended" version of the band's classic debut is resurrected bigger than ever without sacrificing its familiar kick. Plus, there are two bonus cuts: a full band/piano version of "Spoke In The Wheel" and an acoustic take on "Black Pearl".
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY has announced the "20 Years Of Sonic Brewtality Tour", a brand-new batch of 2019 North American tour dates in conjunction with the new release. The band will play two shows in each market — the first night will feature "Sonic Brew" played in its entirety, while the second night will see the band play a set of greatest hits. Support will come from CONAN and THE ATOMIC BITCHWAX. BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will also participate in U.S festivals Sonic Temple, Epicenter and Welcome to Rockville on this run.
Dates began April 24 at The Oriental Theater in Denver and wrap up in Los Angeles at the famous El Rey Theater for two nights ending on May 23.
"Sonic Brew" was initially released in Japan on October 28, 1998, and contained 13 tracks and a free Zakk Wylde guitar pick. The album was subsequently released in North America on May 4, 1999, with three bonus tracks including a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "No More Tears", recorded with bassist Mike Inez of ALICE IN CHAINS. 5

ARCHSPIRE's Music Used As Template For AI-Generated Death MetalDadabots is special artificial intelligent (AI) software that creates music. The software, developed by Berkley College of Music graduates Zack Zukowski and CJ Carr, is built upon a "recurrent neural network" that receives data and then uses it to interpret musical sequences on its own. Simply stated, the software teaches itself how to compose music based on the work of an existing band as its data-set.
After several failed attempts at creating stable, listenable death metal, the creators turned to the music of Archspire, which ended up being the perfect template to generating metal tunes via artificial intelligence.
"The neural net we used listened to 'Relentless Mutation' over and over again," explains Zukowski. "All raw audio, no tabs, no midi. It generates what it thinks it hears and tunes itself until it begins to intimate the sounds from the original album. After generating, it randomly stitches the audios together, refills the buffer, and streams it with ffmpeg. Repeat."
He continues, "The remarkable part is the high quality-to-shit ratio. We tried this with 100 albums and found that Archspire's music made for the most interesting bot. Zero curation was necessary. Everything it generates sounds good to us. You're hearing everything it makes. Our theory is the faster the blast beats, the more stable the net. Archspire is absurdly fast - they are basically machines. So far, we haven't found anything that works better."
Archspire adds, "We've been hearing about this 'AI that's trained on Archspire writing death metal' over the past few weeks. Well, here's the thing: We actually aren't surprised about this. We've been utilizing very similar technology to write our music this entire time. The program we've been using? It's called T.O.B.I. It stands for:
Technically
Outrageous
Boner
Inducer
"Tobi has been part of our writing process since 2009, and while you may notice that he takes on a physical form as guitarist in the band, rest assured under those tight fitting clothes, he's more machine than man."
To hear some of the AI-generated albums that Dadabots have produced, visit their YouTube and Bandcamp. More on the project can be read in a document the researchers' produced in 2017 at this location.
In other news, Canadian tech-death metal masters Archspire will perform their latest full-length, Relentless Mutation in its entirety on their upcoming North American tour, which kickoff on May 9th in Seattle, WA and will conclude on June 4th in Boise, ID.
Archspire comments, "We are VERY excited to announce we'll be playing the entire Relentless Mutation album every night during Tech Trek IV!!! This has been something we've wanted to do for a long time, and now we're finally making it happen, come hangout with us this May/June! Stay Tech!"

THE DAMNED THINGS Feat. ANTHRAX, EVERY TIME I DIE, FALL OUT BOY Members: 'Omen' Lyric VideoThe official lyric video for the song "Omen" from THE DAMNED THINGS can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's second album, "High Crimes", which is being released on April 26 via Nuclear Blast.
The supergroup comprised of members of EVERY TIME I DIE, ANTHRAX and FALL OUT BOY recently confirmed the addition of ALKALINE TRIO bassist Dan Andriano to its ranks. He replaces Josh Newton (EVERY TIME I DIE), who hasn't been part of the band since it was reactivated three years ago. Also gone from THE DAMNED THINGS is guitarist Rob Caggiano (VOLBEAT, ANTHRAX).
"Normally, when career bands say they made a record for fun, they didn't — but we actually did. Maybe that's why this band doesn't have a career?" said THE DAMNED THINGS' Joe Trohman. "Anyway, we're genuinely proud of it."
"High Crimes" was produced by Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR, AMON AMARTH) and is the follow-up to 2010's "Ironiclast".
"High Crimes" track listing:
01. Cells
02. Something Good
03. Invincible
04. Omen
05. Carry A Brick
06. Storm Catcher
07. Young Hearts
08. Keep Crawling
09. Let Me Be (Your Girl)
10. The Fire Is Cold
Trohman — who also plays in FALL OUT BOY — told Kerrang! magazine that the band was originally planning to release a new EP "but then it got to the point where we just made a whole record. The more we put into it, the more we were, like, 'Okay, let's just do this,'" he said. "I hate using the terms 'organically,' because it's a pretty shitty buzzword, but it happened organically. [Laughs]"
Trohman also spoke about some of the individual tracks on "High Crimes", saying: "I originally wanted to open the record with this song called 'Storm Charmer' because it was really slow and ominous, which is probably a bad idea. [Laughs] I think I love 'Cells' — that is one of my favorite songs on the record. 'Cells', 'Omen' and 'Carry A Brick' are some of my favorites.
"Honestly, I've been sitting with the demos for nearly two years, and I still haven't got sick of any of it," he continued. "I don't listen to it in a self-serving way. I'll listen to them and think, 'When am I going to hate them?' And every time I listen to them, I really like all these songs. It's the first time I've listened to a record and found there's not a lot I would change. With making anything, I could tweak it forever, but I think with this one, the mentality was just: go in, write these songs, and when they're done, they're done. Don't overthink anything. Hopefully, by approaching it in a 'Let's make them sound really cool and not tweak them forever' stance, then they would be the rawest possible version. I though the last record was definitely a little flippant in production, and I just wanted to pull back on that."
THE DAMNED THINGS was formed a decade ago, when FALL OUT BOY's Andy Hurley and ANTHRAX's Scott Ian started writing music together. The band played its first show two years later and released its debut album, "Ironiclast", in December 2010. After performing a few gigs together, the members took a hiatus and returned to their respective bands.
In addition to Ian and Hurley, "Ironiclast" featured EVERY TIME I DIE frontman Keith Buckley, Trohman, Newton and Caggiano.
"Ironiclast" sold 6,200 copies in the first week of release and reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.

VADER: Lyric Video For New Song 'Grand Deceiver'Polish extreme metal veterans VADER will release a new EP titled "Thy Messenger" on May 31 via Nuclear Blast. The effort contains four of the five songs that were recorded over a week-long period in January and February at Hertz Studio in Białystok, Poland under the supervision of the Wiesławski Brothers. The cover art was painted by Wes Benscoter, who previously worked with VADER on the "De Profundis" LP and has collaborated with such bands as SLAYER, KREATOR and SINISTER. A new full VADER album will be recorded later this year for a tentative autumn release.
"Thy Messenger" track listing:
01. Grand Deceiver
02. Litany
03. Emptiness
04. Despair
05. Steeler (JUDAS PRIEST cover)
The official lyric video for the song "Grand Deceiver" can be seen below.
Comments the band: "We are so excited to give you new VADER song from our fresh record! 'Grand Deceiver' is the opening track on 'Thy Messenger' EP and perfect explanation of what you all may expect with the upcoming releases. Sharp-as-razor and brutal-as-hell track is just an appetizer before the new VADER album to come. Chris of Nuclear Blast created this brilliant lyric video, which you can watch while waiting for 'Thy Messenger'. Sit comfortably, play it LOUD and… ENJOY!!!"
VADER mastermind Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek recently stated about "Thy Messenger": "We decided to record the new EP because we knew that the full-length new album won't be released before the end of 2019. We're back on the road in June and we plan to have some new tunes ready for our fans throughout the summer. We're due to start the recording process for the new VADER LP in April in England. For the time being we've named the album '…And Then There Was Only Pain', and it should be completed by the end of May — when 'Thy Messenger' EP is due to be released worldwide. The EP includes three new tracks — mostly really vicious and aggressive tracks, even for VADER. 'Emptiness' is more groovy in the main riff, but really heavy at the end. All the songs are fast and short, but pretty intense, I guess. We've also added a new version of our classic title track from 'Litany'. It is 20 years since we recorded that album at the Red Studio. 'Litany' — as a song — and many more from that album have never been performed live. This album is still one of the fan favorites in the VADER discography and in 2019 we will resurrect this whole record as part of our live shows this autumn. Another bonus is the absolute classic cover of 'Steeler' which was always one of my all-time favorite [JUDAS] PRIEST songs."
VADER's latest studio album, "The Empire", was released in November 2016 via Nuclear Blast. 14

DEATH ANGEL: Lyric Video For New Song 'The Pack'The official lyric video for "The Pack", a brand new song from San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans DEATH ANGEL, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming ninth full-length album, "Humanicide", which will be released on May 31 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Comments guitarist Rob Cavestany: "'The Pack' is inspired by and dedicated to our fans. When I wrote this song, we had just come home from tour and I was still feeling the rush of performing at open air festivals. The energy exchange between us on stage and the mass of metal heads in the crowd is unlike any other. I wanted to capture it in a song about unity, like our song 'Kill As One'.
"Our fan club is called 'The Pack.' Our fans get it! But it's not only for them, it also branches out to represent our families, friends, team, crew... and all metalheads! We feel honored to belong to this worldwide 'pack.' This song requires crowd participation, we are SO looking forward to playing it live!"
With "Humanicide", DEATH ANGEL has maintained its throne in the universe of thrash while still managing to remain progressive in their style. They apply a wide variety of different elements to their music, always pushing to add newness to their sound. This time around they've included everything from acoustic bits to guest musicians to even (for the first time) the notes of a piano. All 10 songs flow seamlessly yet each leaves its own distinct impression.
For the fourth album cycle in a row, DEATH ANGEL returned to producer and friend Jason Suecof (DEICIDE, TRIVIUM) of Audiohammer studios for the recording and mixing, along with the mastering of the legendary Ted Jensen (SLIPKNOT, PANTERA) of Sterling Sound, who added the final touches and brought it all to life, with artist Brent Elliott White (LAMB OF GOD, MEGADETH) providing the ominous cover artwork.
Says Cavestany: "I'm ecstatic to present DEATH ANGEL's ninth studio album, 'Humanicide'. This collection of songs represents the band in its current state — united, vital, intense and (still) hungry like the wolf! I wanted this record to be quite diverse stylistically while obviously keeping with the parameters of metal. DA has been known to push the envelope and we absolutely did this time. So many emotions are expressed through our music, I'm very much looking forward to adding these songs into our live set list. As I savor this rare feeling of satisfaction, we proudly unleash this beast upon thee."
"Humanicide" track listing:
01. Humanicide
02. Divine Defector
03. Aggressor
04. I Came For Blood
05. Immortal Behated
06. Alive and Screaming
07. The Pack
08. Ghost of Me
09. Revelation Song
10. Of Rats and Men
11. The Day I Walked Away (bonus track) 6

GUNS N' ROSES Keyboardist DIZZY REED Releases Music Video For 'Rock 'N Roll Ain't Easy' Title TrackGUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed has released the official music video for the title track of his debut solo album, "Rock 'N Roll Ain't Easy".
Reed says: "The video features HOOKERS & BLOW, was directed by my pal Scotty Slam (and Billy Baker) and was fun and relatively easy to make, almost counteracting the title of the song — but not really. Enjoy!"
Asked about the inspiration for the "Rock 'N Roll Ain't Easy" title track, Dizzy told Germany's Metal-Heads.de: "I spend a lot of time reminding myself that life could be a lot harder. I could be doing something I don't wanna do at all. I'm really lucky to be able to play rock music for a living.
"It's not as easy as it looks. It's not all glitz and glam," he continued.
"I started playing rock and roll because I didn't wanna work; I didn't wanna have a 9-to-5 [job]. And I realized at some point… Now all I do is work. If you wanna stay busy out there and [remain] relevant, you have to work harder.
"There's a lot of times when, especially at that point in my life, where I was wondering why I was doing it still, and there was nothing coming in, and you don't have anything to fall back on. If I went to a McDonald's right now to apply for a job, they wouldn't take me. What am I gonna do?
"It's a story about how difficult things were and how much time I had to spend sticking it out, wondering where I was gonna go to sleep that night, wondering where I was gonna get a shower and get something to eat," he added. "I mean, that went on for years. And I think when I did write that song, I thought I had kind of come full circle. My first marriage had split up and my stuff was literally in my truck. I was staying in an apartment with the girl who had become my wife now. And I was sitting out on a balcony playing guitar, and that song just started coming [to me]. It was raining and I didn't know what I was gonna do. But a lot of it is kind of tongue-in-cheek too. If you know me, I'm not that serious. But I think people will get the point. People can make of it what they would like, basically."
"Rock 'N Roll Ain't Easy" was released in February 2018 via Golden Robot Records. Written by Reed, Ricky Warwick (THIN LIZZY, THE ALMIGHTY, BLACK STAR RIDERS) and Del James, the disc's first single, "This Don't Look Like Vegas", features Warwick and Mayuko Okai on guitar, with GUNS bandmate Richard Fortus (PSYCHELIC FURS, THIN LIZZY, THE DEAD DAISIES) providing the guitar solo. Mike Dupke (W.A.S.P.) is on drums, with Mike Duda (W.A.S.P.) on bass, while Reed handles lead vocals, piano, shaker and tambourine, with backing vocals from Nadja Reed, Chela Johnson and Del James.
"Rock 'N Roll Ain't Easy" is 12 tracks (or 13, if you download the digital version) of rock with Reed uniting with fellow members of GUNS N' ROSES, along with some other greats, including players from W.A.S.P., QUIET RIOT, PSYCHEDELIC FURS, THIN LIZZY, NO DOUBT, THE REPLACEMENTS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, and more.
Reed is the longest-serving member of GN'R after singer Axl Rose. He joined the band as a touring member in 1990, during the "Use Your Illusion" era, and has played with most of the original members as well as in all the later editions of the group and the current reunion lineup.
In 2012, Dizzy was inducted into the the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as a member of GUNS N' ROSES. He has toured with the PSYCHEDELIC FURS and has toured, recorded and written with supergroup THE DEAD DAISIES whose lineup has featured members of THE CULT, MÖTLEY CRÜE, WHITESNAKE, THE ROLLING STONES and THIN LIZZY. He also sings lead vocals with his side project HOOKERS & BLOW.

DESTRUCTION To Release 'Born To Perish' Album In AugustGerman thrash metal veterans DESTRUCTION will release their 17th studio album, "Born To Perish", on August 9 via Nuclear Blast. The disc was recorded in January and February 2019 with V.O. Pulver (PRO-PAIN, BURNING WITCHES, NERVOSA) at Little Creek Studios in Switzerland and is the first DESTRUCTION album to feature Randy Black on drums and second guitarist Damir Eskic.
A short teaser for the album is available below.
Randy comments: "I've recorded quite a few thrash records over the years but never have I laid down drum tracks this intense, brutal and dynamic. It will be a nice challenge indeed to play those new songs live! I am very happy I could also contribute to the songwriting of the record, as Mike and Schmier were really open for ideas!
"This album is packed with amazing songs, rippin' riffs, blistering vocals and great lead solos shared by Mike and Damir.
"To be honest, at first I was not thrilled about adding another guitar player 'cause I loved the trio, but Damir has been such a great addition, both as a player and as a person — he really is a perfect fit for DESTRUCTION!"
Adds Schmier: "This is indeed a very important album for us. There is a certain positive strength in the new lineup and it feels really great. Whoever has seen us live lately maybe will understand what I mean and for sure that has an important influence on this record.
"'Born To Perish' is more in your face; it is fast and furious, has more crazy guitars and a has a very groovy and punchy backbone with Mr. Randy Black! But for sure it features some of the best raging DESTRUCTION songs we've written in quite a while. I gotta quote what some die-hard fans lately printed on a shirt: 'DESTRUCTION 2019 — stronger than ever!' Nothing to add — fuck yeah!"
Schmier recently told France's Duke TV about the making of DESTRUCTION's upcoming album: "It's a process that took us three months — writing, recording and mixing. The new influence of the guys is there, because there's more shredding leads. Randy is a very solid, very tight player — very groovy also. You can hear that. We tried to make songs this time that are hitting on the target faster — the songs hit you right away. It's brutal, but it's very catchy. So you hear the songs the first time, right away you will remember [them]. You don't write an album like this every time. Sometimes you write songs, and after a while, you're, like, 'It's maybe too complicated,' because you wanna be an artist, you wanna express yourself. I think this time we managed to write an album that's very punchy."
Damir is a Swiss guitar player of Bosnian decent who works as a guitar teacher, himself being a former pupil of Tommy Vetterli (CORONER). He also plays in a heavy metal band called GOMORRA and previously contributed three solos to DESTRUCTION's 2016 album "Under Attack".
DESTRUCTION previously played with two guitarists in the late 1980s (with the addition of Harry Wilkens) and then again throughout much of the 1990s (Michael "Ano" Piranio). 7

Exclusive: TANAGRA Premiere Meridiem Album StreamHunkered down across four studios for close to three years, joined by guest musicians on piano, cello, and viola, Portland’s Tanagra has been refining and crafting the seven multi-layered compositions on their upcoming album Meridiem to perfection. Set for release this Friday, April 26th, the power metal album packed with depth, emotion, harmony, and complexity is being premiered exclusively today on BraveWords.
Meridiem by Tanagra
The band comments:
"Meridiem was us taking primary influence from classic prog rock and orchestral black metal alongside our classic power metal sound, with symphonic arrangements, multi-layered choral vocals, and moody mellotrons combining to make an atmosphere that sounds like nothing else. The diverse set of songs have a little something for everyone, from furious blast beats to smooth jazz piano solos and everything in between. Our main ambitions when writing were to make everything proggy and epic, and we pushed the songs as hard as we could on that. It's a special album for all of us, with the meaning behind every riff and lyric. We're excited to finally unleash it upon the world, and we hope people enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed writing it."
Meridiem will be available on April 26th, 2019, through Spotify, CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon.

“Sydria”
“Etheric Alchemy”

"We titled our second album Ghastly Waves & Battered Graves because it's catchy, cold and metal as fuck," Vulture guitarist Stefan Genozider declares succinctly. This is not an overstatement. The follow up to 2017's cult sensation The Guillotine and their debut release for Metal Blade, the new full-length captures the German crew's dispensing scathing thrash at a standard that places them toe-to-toe with the best in their genre. It is also a dramatic step forward in terms of songwriting and execution. "With 'The Guillotine' we really restricted ourselves to reproducing our debut EP. We wanted it to sound the same, both in the actual music and sound-wise, but we knew that this wouldn't work a third time, so we sat down and talked about what was missing in what we had come up with so far. From that discussion, the overall goal for our second full-length was to get more variation in our songs, work out more melodic parts and allow ourselves to slow down a little here and there."
When it came to tracking, Vulture once again joined forces with close friend and producer Marco Brinkmann (Casket, Cross Vault) at Hellforge Studio in Detmold, Germany. "Overall, the album sounds very aggressive and cold, and our producer Marco once again managed to catch exactly what we wanted and mapped out a great mix that fits our music perfectly. There's a lot of room for all those small accents and hints, but it also sounds very direct, in-your-face-alike, if you will," says Genozider. With Brinkmanns' incredibly busy schedule, their only window for recording were ten days in August, which turned out to be during the hottest summer the region had experienced in decades. This obviously made for quite an intense process, but the band was well prepared thanks to the countless hours spent in pre-production and targeted on what they wanted to achieve they managed to finish up a day early. They also tracked a cover of Thin Lizzy's "Killer On The Loose" to cap off the collection. "Finding a fitting cover isn't easy but this track just clicks with Vulture," enthuses Axetinctor. "You have the lyrical theme, the ripping riffs and most importantly it's a great song by one of our favorite bands."

Video Premiere: DIAMOND HEAD's 'Death By Design'"Death By Design", the new video from NWOBHM pioneers DIAMOND HEAD, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, "The Coffin Train", which will be released on May 24 via Silver Lining Music.
With a mean, driving riff that resembles a thunderous machine gun, "Death By Design" is a powerful track. It is a song that takes the listener along for one hell of a ride which promises to put the fire back in the spirit of anyone daring to jump aboard.
Says guitarist Brian Tatler: "Death By Design' is the second song from the new DIAMOND HEAD album, 'The Coffin Train', to be released. This song began life in my home studio in 2015. I had the opening top E string riff and tried to build a song around it. I gave a demo to Ras [singer Rasmus Bom Andersen] and he added a new verse riff. We worked on the arrangement and made another demo early 2017 before trying it out in rehearsal. It has a four-bar guitar solo that was recorded in a hotel room on Ras's laptop while on tour, another first for DIAMOND HEAD!"
Rasmus adds: "Contrary to the title, 'Death By Design' is not a song about death but about life. It's about choosing life, your path and on your terms. It's saying 'no' to rotting in the giant hamster wheel and drowning in pre-conceived notions of 'the good life' checklists, so that when you're done and heading down into the fire, you can wear that big smile saying you did it your way and had one hell of a ride."
On the video production, Rasmus continues: "We've shot the most videos the band has ever shot for an album launch. The music video for 'Death By Design' was a tough one to shoot right. We don't exactly have Hollywood budgets for the production, but our director on this song, Russell Cherington, has been a massive support in shooting a rather fantastic video. We wanted to create something that resembled a descent into hell and follow the concept from the lyrics. We hope everyone will enjoy the second single and video and that it might inspire them to live life on their terms."
"The Coffin Train" was recorded at Vigo Studios in Walsall, Circle Studios in Birmingham and Raw Sound Studio in London, and is the second DIAMOND HEAD album to feature Rasmus Bom Andersen, who joined the band in 2014.
"Rasmus is a big part of why the album, and band, sound like we do," says Tatler. "He has a fantastic vocal range, knows exactly what to do with his voice and is incredibly knowledgeable about it.
"All along, we wanted to make sure we didn't lose sight of what we call 'The Brief.' I would never want to deny our NWOBHM style and sound; that's what originally got me excited and DIAMOND HEAD noticed. And I still enjoy the creative journey we go on."
Formed in 1976 under the riff-rolling leadership of guitarist Brian Tatler, DIAMOND HEAD would quickly establish themselves as a vanguard of the exploding New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene. With their genre-defining debut album "Lightning To The Nations", DIAMOND HEAD has influenced and opened gates for many metal bands.
DIAMOND HEAD is:
Brian Tatler - lead/rhythm guitars
Rasmus Bom Andersen - vocals
Karl Wilcox - drums
Andy "Abbz" Abberley - rhythm/lead guitars
Dean Ashton - bass, backing vocals 1

Harp Twins CAMILLE AND KENNERLY Cover JOE SATRIANI’s “Always With Me, Always With You”; VideoDual twin harpists Camille And Kennerly have returned with another cover; this time with Joe Satriani’s “Always With Me, Always With You”.
The twins comment: “We’ve covered a lot of complex guitar solos in our rock and metal covers, but arranging and playing ‘Always With Me, Always With You’ (Joe Satriani), was on another level! We had to work like devils to play this song like angels. Figuring out how to arrange and play all of the guitar riffs and solos was quite the challenge, but in the end, we think our arrangement makes it sound like it was written with our harps in mind! We feel the harps give the song a magical and ethereal quality. We recorded this track on our electro-acoustic Concert Grand harps, but filmed on our electric lever harps since we couldn’t access this gorgeous location with our larger harps. We hope you enjoy our interpretation of this timeless instrumental rock classic!”
“This video was filmed by our mom on our phone. Everything you hear in our arrangement is exactly how we can perform it live with our 2 harps (and ankle shakers): no backing tracks, loops, or harp overlays. Please let us know if you enjoyed “Always With Me, Always With You” by liking the video, favoriting, leaving a comment, and sharing it with your friends. We will continue to go where no harps have gone before! Please subscribe and stay tuned for more of our radical Duet Harp Revolution!”
For exclusive sneak peeks and rewards, support Camille And Kennerly on Patreon.
Joe Satriani originally released “Always With Me, Always With You” in 1987 on his Surfing With The Alien album.

RANDY BACHMAN - THE GUESS WHO / B.T.O. Legend To Release Special Edition Of "Bachman" Documentary On Blu-Ray And DVD In May; Video TrailerThe story of Randy Bachman - from his early days in The Guess Who to Bachman-Turner Overdrive to present day - is covered in the documentary Bachman, of which a special edition is coming on Blu-ray and DVD on May 10 via MVD Entertainment Group. A trailer for the film can be found below.
As a member of The Guess Who, Bachman was part of the first ever No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 by a Canadian band with "American Woman / No Sugar Tonight," and then topped the Hot 100 again in 1974 with another band, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, with "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet."
"That's a pretty rare thing for a recording artist who gets two No. 1s with two different bands," notes John Einarson," biographer and music historian, at the start of the new documentary, Bachman, chronicling the life of this 74 year old who is still regularly making music and performing. The film follows Bachman as he looks to the past for inspiration from rarely seen footage, pictures and documents that have been stored at the National Archives in Ottawa for decades.
Among the other hits Bachman has written or co-written are "These Eyes," "No Time," "New Mother Nature," "Takin' Care of Business," "Let It Ride," and "Roll On Down The Highway."
"He was like my biggest influence when I was a kid," says Neil Young in the film. "Watching him play guitar, he had an amazing sense about the way he played. And the feeling that you got when you listened to him. It was more than just chops."
Young, who has known Bachman for about 55 years, added, "I hear Randy - when I see him, I hear him, and I feel him."
The documentary made its world premiere in Toronto at Hot Docs 2018 before a festival run, and eventual airing in Canada on CBC's Documentary Channel. Incorporating numerous present-day interviews with family, management, and fellow musicians, director John Barnard (2012's The Sheepdogs Have At It) touches on everything from Bachman's childhood to his various rock bands - The Guess Who, Brave Belt, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bachman-Turner - and solo work.

VINNIE VINCENT Says He Got A 'Cold Reception' At GENE SIMMONS's 'Vault' Event: 'I Was Treated Very Indifferently'Vinnie Vincent says that he got a "cold reception" when he joined his former bandmate Gene Simmons a year ago at the KISS bassist/vocalist's "Vault" event in Nashville, Tennessee.
The ex-KISS guitarist, who famously filed multiple lawsuits against his former bandmates, alleging unpaid songwriting royalties, spoke about the experience of seeing Simmons again during a brand new interview with "Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon".
Vinnie said (hear audio below): "I almost didn't do his 'Vault', because… When you're driving, you think… And the thing that kept coming into my mind was, 'It's the first time I'm seeing this guy after being run over by his bus.'
"It's easy to run over somebody when you can just keep forking hundreds of thousands of dollars into attorneys, to your law firm, and say, 'Hey, destroy Vinnie. Here's another hundred and fifty thousand, here's another five hundred thousand. I want you to destroy Vinnie,'" he continued. "It's very easy and it's also really cute to say, 'Hey, here's Vinnie filing his hundred and fiftieth lawsuit, another three hundredth lawsuit. Ha! Ha!' Very funny. Very fucking funny. Not funny to me. And yeah, these were different lawsuits for different causes of action.
"When you have money, you buy justice," he added. "And you may not even buy justice — you buy a win or you buy a lose. Mostly people with that kind of money do not lose, because judges are pretty much on the same… they're not on the wavelength of justice. It's good old boy game."
According to Vincent, he began having second thoughts about seeing Gene again while he was driving to the "Vault" event.
"These were all detrimental reasons that were starting to reverse my decision to show up at his 'Vault'," Vinnie said. "So I actually pulled over for a while. And I was late showing up, but I pulled over, and I said, 'Look, for all the reasons, for all the right reasons, for all the natural reasons that you have for not going, you should not go.' Then I had to make that choice and say, 'But you made a promise and he's expecting you there.' And if you're gonna try to put behind you anything and try to bury this — which is very difficult. It's like someone murdering your child and you're gonna try to face that person again and shake their hand, which is near impossible. I'm not built that well where I can shake someone's hands for doing that. But it was a moment where I had to make a quick decision, and I said, 'Okay. I'm going. We'll see what happens.' So I did show up. And, to be honest with you, I went there with a smile. I went there to support his show. And I felt that it was a cold reception and I was treated very indifferently. And driving home, I thought, 'Now, why did you just do this?' But it's documented. It's there. There were some funny moments, and I tried to keep it… Nobody needs to know what really happened. But we took some pictures, we talked a little bit. [It was] superficial, very indifferent, very cold, nothing warm. And I thought, 'Hmmm. Okay. That's the last time I will do the favor. And don't ask me again.'"
Last summer, Simmons suggested in an interview that Vincent was "his own worst enemy" and expressed his doubt that Vinnie would successfully relaunch his career.
"There's something called the classic failure mechanism, which I was told by doctors and everything — I'm not saying he is one," Simmons said at the time when asked about Vincent's attempt to trademark the name "Vinnie Vincent's Kiss". "But there are people who simply cannot handle when things are starting to go their way — success — so they torpedo it by making stupid decisions to make sure they don't succeed, so they can deal with that."
Vinnie joined KISS in 1982, replacing Ace Frehley. As the "Ankh Warrior," he toured with the group in support of "Creatures Of The Night", on which he played lead guitar on six songs prior to becoming an official member of the band. From there, KISS wrote and released "Lick It Up" — their first album without makeup — in 1983, a recording on which Vincent co-wrote eight of 10 songs, including the title track, which remains a staple of the group's live performances to this day.
Despite the album's success, Vincent was fired by KISS after the "Lick It Up" touring cycle came to an end, allegedly due to a dispute over both the terms of his employment contract with the band and royalties. From there, Vincent founded VINNIE VINCENT INVASION, which recorded two albums.
In 1992, Vincent re-teamed with KISS principals Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley to write three songs for their acclaimed album "Revenge", including the record's first two singles, "Unholy" and "I Just Wanna". Their relationship quickly soured once again, however. Four years later, Vincent released a solo EP, "Euphoria", which featured vocals by former VVI singer Fleischman and included material from sessions recorded around 1990. Soon after that, Vincent vanished from the public eye and remained off the grid for more than two decades.
As previously reported, Vincent will perform at the "Speedballjamm" on Friday, June 7 at the S.I.R. Soundstage in Nashville, Tennessee.
Only 60 VIP tickets are available for the event, which will see Vincent backed by his handpicked musicians, Mike Weeks and Chuck White.

JUDAS PRIEST's IAN HILL: Heavy Metal 'Will Never Die'JUDAS PRIEST bassist Ian Hill was recently interviewed by Rob Rush Radio. You can now listen to the chat below.
Asked for his opinion on the notion that rock is dead, Hill said: "I don't think it ever will be dead. The thing is, what are you gonna replace it with? It's been there since the '50s — rock and roll. I mean, it's all coming from then, basically. And, like I say, if you're gonna kill it off, there's gonna have to be another alternative from your manufactured pop stuff that you've been getting all along. There's always been something else — it's either been blues or it's been jazz or now it's heavy rock, heavy metal. There's always been something there. And I definitely haven't heard anything that could possibly replace heavy metal at the moment… But it will never die. There's always people there who like different things. And heavy metal certainly is different to run-of-the-mill popular music you get in general."
Hill also defended GRETA VAN FLEET over accusations that the Michigan rockers have ripped off LED ZEPPELIN. He said: "I'm familiar with them, yeah. I haven't heard that much of them. Listen, things like that are inevitable. Everybody, especially when they start out, have got influences. When we started out, Ken's [guitarist K.K. Downing] big influence was Jimi Hendrix, for instance, and mine was Jack Bruce from CREAM. So you've got two people there together — you've got him playing Hendrix stuff, me playing Jack Bruce bass lines — and it was recognizable back then. But as you go forward, you find your own feet, you get your own sound, your own direction, you get your own image — the whole nine yards. If they're going out to sound those [other bands], it might be a bit of a mistake. But I'm sure it's influences, probably, coming through."
PRIEST's current touring lineup consists of Hill, singer Rob Halford, guitarists Sneap and Richie Faulkner, and drummer Scott Travis.
JUDAS PRIEST will return to the U.S. for a spring run with fellow classic heavy rockers URIAH HEEP. The 32-date trek will kick off on May 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and wrap on June 29 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hill is the sole remaining original member of PRIEST, which formed in 1969. Halford joined the group in 1973 and guitarist Glenn Tipton signed on in 1974. Rob left PRIEST in the early 1990s to form his own band, then came back to PRIEST in 2003.
JUDAS PRIEST's latest album, "Firepower", was released in March 2018 via Epic. 15

"Rammstein" track listing:
01. Deutschland (05:26)
02. Radio (04:37)
03. Zeig Dich (04:16)
04. Ausländer (03:52)
05. Sex (03:56)
06. Puppe (04:33)
07. Was Ich Liebe (04:30)
08. Diamant (02:33)
09. Weit Weg (04:19)
10. Tattoo (04:10)
11. Hallomann (04:09)
Last month, RAMMSTEIN released an epic nine-minute Specter Berlin-directed video for "Deutschland", the first single from "Rammstein".
RAMMSTEIN's first studio album since 2009's "Liebe Ist Für Alle Da" was produced by Olsen Involtini with RAMMSTEIN and was mixed at a Santa Monica, California studio with Rich Costey, an American producer who has previously worked with MUSE, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and FRANZ FERDINAND, among others.
RAMMSTEIN guitarist Richard Kruspe told Metal Wani about the making of the band's new album: "Well, when I thought to do another RAMMSTEIN record, I was like, 'No, I'm going to do that. I'm not going through more suffering,'" he said. "That was four years ago. But what we did in the beginning is we said 'Let's get together and try to come up with three or four songs.' We didn't really put any pressure on us, which was very important at this time. While we were starting to rehearse and stuff and getting ideas, I thought, 'Wow, it's actually very good. Things have changed.' All of a sudden, there's a certain kind of respect that I always missed a little bit. We just had good chemistry, which reminded me of the first time when we started. Then I felt, like, 'What would interest me on a new RAMMSTEIN record?' I thought, 'Every time people talk RAMMSTEIN, it's about fire. It's all about the show.' Nobody talks about the music anymore for RAMMSTEIN, and it kind of bothered me. I was thinking, 'I want to do another record. It has to be musical in a way that can really stand out from other records.' That was my goal, or our goal."
As for the disc's musical direction and how it compares to the band's previous efforts, Kruspe said: "It's so hard to say it, because I'm working four years on the record, I'm so close. I think when I listen to the record — we're still in the process, but it's almost 'RAMMSTEIN 3D' is how I describe it. We have written a lot of stuff, but we recorded, I think, 16 songs right now. We're probably going to mix 11 songs because we're running out of time right now. I think it's going to be out in April, which will be the release date. Then, we'll be on our first stadium tour, which is very exciting."
RAMMSTEIN recently announced a batch of summer 2019 European tour dates. The run of stadium and arena shows will kick off on May 27 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and end of August 23 in Vienna, Austria. 2

RON KEEL BAND: 'Fight Like A Band' VideoRON KEEL BAND's video for the title track of its new album, "Fight Like A Band", can be seen below. The disc hit stores March 1 via EMP Label Group's EMP Outlaw imprint. The collection features 11 brand-new songs and fresh recordings of KEEL classics.
"This album is really about the struggle to survive and succeed," Ron Keel explains, "and this song reflects that with a classic hard rock anthem feel. 'Girls Like Me' will be a great follow-up single and summertime party song — but we felt it was important to come out swinging with 'Fight Like A Band' leading the charge."
Says EMP head of A&R/operations Thom Hazaert: "This is a tough, gritty performance clip that really displays the band's attitude and character. It's obvious these guys have a chip on their shoulder and something to prove."
The video and single coincide with the beginning of RON KEEL BAND's summer touring season, which kicks off at Keelfest in Columbus, Ohio on May 10, featuring not only RON KEEL BAND but the classic KEEL lineup and a STEELER reunion that includes bassist Rik Fox and guitar hero Mitch Perry. Appearances at festivals, fairs and bike events in nine states include Hot Harley Nights on July 13 with NIGHT RANGER.
Keel's 35-year odyssey as an entertainer has taken him from the concrete jungle of arena rock to the dirt roads of country and southern rock, and back again. KEEL's legendary major label debut, "The Right To Rock", was produced by KISS's Gene Simmons, and the band went on to notch three albums on Billboard's Hot 100.
After selling millions of albums and touring the world as both a metal screamer (KEEL, STEELER, and a brief encounter with BLACK SABBATH) and an outlaw country artist, he has combined those elements into a powerful brand as the "metal cowboy."
In addition to Keel, RON KEEL BAND features lead guitarist Dave "DC" Cothern, bassist El Diablo (a.k.a. Geno Arce, also a longtime member of KEEL and other Ron Keel projects), Jeff "The Rev" Koller on drums and keyboardist Dakota Scott Schmitt (the latter two are both members of the South Dakota Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame). They have been together for four years — starting out as the house band for Sioux Falls entertainment complex Badlands Pawn. During that era, they toured heavily on their own and with Midwest legends HAIRBALL, and backed up other singers like Paul Stanley, Jack Blades, Kip Winger, Mark Slaughter, Don Dokken, and Stephen Pearcy — and for a 2016 Sioux Falls performance they did a set of covers mixed with MEGADETH hits with EMP founder David Ellefson.
Says Ellefson: "I've known Ron Keel for many years — obviously, there's deep connections all the way back to the earliest days of STEELER and MEGADETH — and consider him a great friend. We reconnected a few years back, even had the chance to perform together a few times, and what he was doing was a really natural fit for EMP. Before you knew it, we had created EMP Outlaw, and a wonderful new alliance was formed. Ron is truly one of the greats, and it's such an honor to partner with him to release this music."
