Portuguese bashers Moonspell have released a new unboxing video of their new album, Extinct, which is out now in Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Europe/Australia via Napalm Records. Other territories fall on the following dates:
UK/Norway/France/Denmark/Italy - March 9th
Sweden/Spain - March 11th
North America - March 17th
The album will be available on Mediabook, Jewelcase, special limited deluxe edition wooden box and various LP. According to the label the album "is all but a musical and emotional manifesto. It puts the D of darkness back into dark metal. It's a true lesson for the new generations of goth metal about how it's played and felt with body and soul; a lesson taught by no others than our Portuguese gentlemen wolves."
Extinct will be exemplary and it will leave a profound mark on the scene and on the fans, once it sees the light of day in March. It was produced by Jens Bogren (Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Opeth and Paradise Lost) in Sweden's renowned Fascination Street studio.

С возрастом всё более убеждаешься, что отношение широкой общественности к металлу всегда останется снисходительно-брезгливым. И хотелось бы верить, что слушаешь всё же интеллектуальную музыку, но после подобных видосов... Мужикам по сорок лет, нет же, на камеру обязательно надо ******ю козу состроить и язык высунуть. И кто, какие-нибудь альты или глэмщики? Нет, великие Мунспелл, всю юность бывшие (да и остающиеся) для меня богами. Как могут соседствовать кривлянье а-ля Дом-2 и ТАКИЕ по силе альбомы (ну, до 2006 включительно)? Не могу понять.
