BRING ME THE HORIZON Releases Surprise Album Featuring Collaborations With HALSEY, Others

BRING ME THE HORIZON has dropped a surprise new album titled "Music to listen to~dance to~blaze to~pray to~feed to~sleep to~talk to~grind to~trip to~breathe to~help to~hurt to~scroll to~roll to~love to~hate to~learn to~plot to~play to~be to~feel to~breed to~sweat to~dream to~hide to~live to~die to~GO TO". The eight-song set is available to stream across most digital platforms.

"Music to listen to" runs for an hour and 15 minutes and features guest appearances from Halsey, Happyalone., Toriel, Yonaka, Lotus Eater and Bexey. Two of the tracks clock in at more than 10 minutes each, while "Underground Big {HEADFULOFHYENA}" runs over 24 minutes long.

The LP follows BRING ME THE HORIZON's video for "Ludens", a song the band recorded for the "Death Stranding: Timefall (Original Music From The World Of Death Stranding)" soundtrack, featuring original music inspired by the PlayStation 4 (PS4) video game "Death Stranding".

Frontman Oli Sykes told NME recently that the group is changing its approach to releasing music, saying: "We're not going to do an album again, maybe ever. We're thinking about doing shorter records... the plan is to release multiple records next year."

Мне нравится как нестандартные музыканты, которые обычно еще и дикие упоранты по жизни, придумывают оригинальные способы создать арт и завуалировать названия песен. Еще больше мне нравится как Бринги решили, что если они делают "экспериментальное" звучание, то нужно обязательно накидать буккаффки))0 в названия, ведь именно так в их представлении все и делается. Ониж теперь вот так сходу стали как Aphex Twin, не меньше.

А так вполне слушабельно, правда количество заезженых звуковых паттернов для "экспериментального" альбома непозволительно большое. Местами будто нарезали последние альбомы Oneohtrix Point Never и Camo & Krooked, а потом сверху еще Dedmau5/Madeon'ом добили. Уж если и тянуть, то не с самых популярных альбомов наверное?
