TOOL Drummer Hoping To Enter Studio In June/July

Vic Firth has uploaded an "Artist Spotlight" video feature on TOOL drummer Danny Carey, featuring interview clips and footage from the band's January 28 concert at TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. During the chat, Carey revealed that he was hoping TOOL would enter the studio in June/July to begin recording its new album.

TOOL has reportedly been writing material for its long-awaited new album, which would follow up 2006's "10,000 Days".

Keenan has been touring with PUSCIFER behind its second album, "Conditions Of My Parole", and also did some shows with A PERFECT CIRCLE in the past year.

While he enjoys performing, Keenan told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago that he's not into the travel. "If I could do something that would get the music out there and get the performances out there in a way that didn't require me leaving home, I would for sure do it," he said. "Soon as they invent an affordable holographic projection of touring, I'm all over it (laughs). A simultaneous performance all across the country, one night, but you stay in one spot and it's holographic — I'm in."

ещё в 2010 году Адам Джонс говорил, что группа сидит в студии и пишет новый материал, что в 2011 году выйдет новый альбом тул, но нет, в 2011 он не вышел, несмотря на утверждения Мэйнарда, что новый альбом записан и остался только вокал, он допридумывает тексты и в 2012 году новому альбому быть... оказывается что тоже нет, в июне/июле они только отправяться в студию, а если вспомнить, что в 2001-2002 году Джонс говорил, что группа сочиняет материал непосредственно в процессе записи... В общем ждать ещё дооолго...

Как бы не вышло как с APC, там тоже альбом хотели писать а закончилось все: "Люди не хотят испить музыку как бокал вина, альбома не будет, до свидания"!
Что-то вся их компания чем старше становится, тем больше парит мозг.
И других этим заражает!

мэйнард то еще тело комерсопродажное. действительно и с альбом APC наеб.... и с tool чет не особо сильно торопиться. конечно лучше хренью заниматься типа выпуска никому нахрен ненужного вина, да своим Puscifer. но один черт....... будем ждать...
