Tobias Sammet’s AVANTASIA Enter Charts In 17 Countries On 3 Continents With Ghostlights

Avantasia’s new album, Ghostlights, has entered the official charts in 17 countries on three different continents.

Via Facebook Tobias Sammet posted: "Thank You - greatest fans in the world! I can't tell you how happy and proud I am! I have experienced a lot but so far I had never entered the charts in 17 countries on 3 continents simultaneously! WOW! Thank You! I am in the middle of getting ready for the tour, there will be the semi finals of the Eurovision Song Contest (February 25th, 20:15) - I count on your support, OK? Muchas Gracias! Tobi"

The new opus features guest appearances of Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Geoff Tate (Queensryche, Operation: Mindcrime), Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Sharon Den Adel (Within Temptation), Michael Kiske (Unisonic, Helloween), Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Bob Catley (Magnum), Jorn Lande, Bruce Kulick (KISS), Robert Mason (Warrant), Herbie Langhans, Oliver Hartmann and Sascha Paeth.

The record contains twelve songs and was produced by Tobias and Sascha Paeth in Gatestudio Wolfsburg, Germany. Paeth is responsible for engineering and mixing Ghostlights, too. Mastering was done by Michael Rodenberg.
