MIKKEY DEE: 'MOTÖRHEAD Is Over'

MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee has confirmed that the band will cease touring and will not record any more albums following the passing of the group's iconic frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister.

"MOTÖRHEAD is over, of course," Mikkey told Sweden's Expressen newspaper. "Lemmy was MOTÖRHEAD. But the band will live on in the memories of many."

He added: "We will not be doing any more tours or anything. And there will not be any more records. But the fire survives, and Lemmy lives on in the hearts of everyone."

MOTÖRHEAD's final concert took place on December 11 in Berlin, Germany. Despite suffering from an "extremely aggressive" form of cancer, Kilmister battled his way through to the end of the group's European tour.

"He was terribly gaunt," Mikkey said. "He spent all his energy on stage and afterwards he was very, very tired. It's incredible that he could even play, that he could finish the Europe tour. It was only 20 days ago. Unbelievable."

Dee believes that MOTÖRHEAD wrapped up its career in the best possible way.

"It feels fantastic that we were able to complete the tour with [Lemmy]," Mikkey said. "It's heartening that we didnt cancel because of Lemmy.

"I'm incredibly grateful over the years we've had, and that we had such a good time together."

MOTÖRHEAD's 22nd studio album, "Bad Magic", was released on August 28.

Лучше позовите еще басиста/вокалиста и назовитесь другим именем. Гитарные соло в мотлрхед были тоже феерическими. Не надо зарывать этот рокенролльный запал.
Не распадайтесь. Это в нирване курт был всем, но здесь еще и гитарные партии были тоже очень крутые. Лэмми за вас бы порадовался только. Не расходитесь.
